So my 1 account that I've had for over a year got permabanned about two weeks ago. I had just ordered 2 x 100 msp's and the next day I get an email that says your order is cancelled and my account has been closed.
After 2 weeks of emailing back and forth with customer service, and getting the SAME DAMN form letter response every time, I finally asked to escalate my question to a manager. All I wanted was an answer on why I got banned, and kept getting the same canned violation of the TOS with 10 possible examples. I have never exploited the system at all, but have cashed out as much as possible with msp's and amazon gc's. Below is the response I got today:
you Jenny. Microsoft can kiss the surface tablet I was going to buy next week goodbye.

Why wouldn't they inform a customer which rule they broke. That seems a bit off. What's to keep someone from not making the same mistake if they are unaware.

Maybe we do a quick survey to see what we've done recently with the banned accounts to have a better idea of what's going on. How about something like: 1) Did you violate any of the TOS? If so, which one? 2) Did you order anything from a now banned account within the last two weeks? 3) If any of your accounts were not banned, do either of the above apply? If so, which? |

In a way I get it, and I don't get it. If I had only one account, and never did anything against the TOS but still got banned, I think I would like to know the reason. |
