Do what you gotta do, Crunch...we dont judge people here. If I had any interest in the Wii U, I would pick one up. I still might in the future, but for now I'm good.

Yeah I definitely want a Wii U at some point when it gets cheaper, but having bought a Wii on day 1 I can say that it's definitely something that can wait. The idea of being able to play the entire game on only the controller is pretty intriguing, though.

We've gotten about 3 inches of rain over the past few days. And now our crawlspace has flooded.
Which has never happened before until we put a new lawn in the backyard. Which was supposed to contain a drain from the down spouts. Hmmm. |

During Sandy we got a little water running in apparently through the window into our bathroom. Not much, but it was there. I figured it somehow got pushed through the closed window by high winds. But then later we had a simple, though somewhat heavy, rain storm and got a lot more water and it was dripping in from above the window. It turned out that we had a couple loose shingles and the water was getting in through there. I'm guessing they were pried loose by Sandy.

I have 28 hours of work scheduled for this week. Hot on the heels of having nothing scheduled for 2 weeks. I work Thanksgiving 7:45-11 and then after 4 hours of sleep have to come in on Black Friday at 4am. Yay me. At least I get hours. Then the day after, a 12 hour shift.

I don't know if people are allowed to complain about working too much these days. Seems kind of iffy since, you know, a ton of people would kill for a job in a sweatshop.

So the dudes need to go down there to flush out the last 6 inches or so of water. Then to figure out why the downspout drains were clogged.
Just had the gutters cleaned a few months ago, so that's not the problem. Likely case is, the lawn maintence guys who put in a new back yard f-ed up somehow when doing the drainage aspect. |
