Ah, looks like the threads are getting pruned by some moderator right now. To make this on topic, I'm looking to pick up the Playstation 3D display later. I should have bought it online last night before going to bed, but I have no use for it other than as a desktop monitor. I've read all the bad reviews about using it as such, but I've found compatible graphics cards (GTI 6XX and higher) and am planning on building a desktop around the 3D concept. Newegg and Best Buy, don't fail me now.

In Dallas/Plano there were a lot of things in store still. Including the $99 display bundle. Great deal.

Any shot the PS3 TV or 26" Insignia $99 restock in the next few hours? I'm literally passing out at my keyboard hitting F5 on the page. I don't want to miss it though. Is there likely to be some restocks in the next days?

I just came from the Best Buy in Gainesville, FL and they had a lot in stock for $99 even after the huge line was done. Seems like people arent aware of it

About an hour and a half line wait, but picked up 4 of the 3D displays and plenty left in my store.

There were like 13 of these displays at my store. Got one easy. Thanks for the tips cags!

Got to my local Best Buy at 9:30pm. Waited for 3 and a half long hours (Best Buy opened at 1am in Massachusetts, state law) and had to piss so bad it made my back hurt. I ended up getting a Playstation 3D Display $99.99 (For myself) and a 14 inch Asus Notebook PC with Windows 8 for $249.99 (For my wife). They were handing out tickets for specific items (TV's and Laptops, I snagged a ticket for the Asus). I also got some blue rays for $7.99. My first Black Friday event ever! It was worth it. We all felt like warriors near the last ten minutes to opening, in very COLD weather (Boston Massachusetts). It was worth it though!

I bought Dead Island at Walmart as an insurance policy in case I couldn't find it at Best Buy. I went over at around 12:30 or so, and it wasn't in the $7.99 bin. I did find the 360 version, but no PS3. I asked a worker who walked up if they had it for the PS3, and he said no, all sold out. I walked around here and there hoping to find one that someone sat down, then decided to just go to the normal game section to look in the D section, and sure enough they had one of these sitting there. I picked it up, waited in the line just for this game, used a $5 off certificate on it, and left. I then went back to Walmart (totally dead at this point, or pretty much anyway) and returned the one I bought there.

I got one of the PlayStation 3D Displays. I'm using it as a computer monitor right now, and I played some Crysis 2 in 3D. I totally recommend it based off of my limited time with it. There is some slight glare and the lack of refresh rates over 60hertz is a little disappointing, but the 3D works well and the picture quality is great. A 2 year Warranty is only $15.

The store near me has a bunch of these 3D displays sitting at the end caps. I think there was like 16 of them. No one buying.

Store in Winter Garden, FL had tons of them. Probably close to 30. I grabbed one but had to ensure it was prices at $99.99. Signs all over the store advertised them at the regular $179.99. Waited 3 hours but worth it. Thanks again.

Just picked up a Playtation 3D display at the Winston Salem NC store. They only had three left at the display. Don't know if they had another stash somewhere else in the store.

I think its due to it being unadvertised. If they plastered this on the front page of the black friday ad it would be gone very quick just like it did on best buy's website.

How are the stores right now? All I need to do is pick up a few gift cards. Will the stores be even more packed at noon?

Can i return the one i ordered online for a refund @ the store? I wqnt to pick one up now instead of waitin weeks

This. That's why I didn't buy one. There are way too many threads about how this thing fails pretty quickly.
