SonOfMan, thanks for you help, but guess what? I bought it November 3rd, haha. It was $100 more, so $679.99, but I had a $100 gift card. A bit bummed, but this was my FIRST HD tv and so I was happy to actually be able to play my games and read the text. I came from a 19"SDTV, so hopefully some of you can see my delight.

Anyways, this TV does have a gaming mode, and really, I can't see the milliseconds between pushing the button and firing during my online FPS adventures (Halo 4, Black Ops 2) so it works for your online games. And 3D black ops is awesome. I never thought 3D gaming could be so fun!

Is this just for that extended holiday price match or has it always been this way?

I bought Kid Icraus for full price knowing that it would be a DOTD...when I went back to price match it...they did it, no questions asked

Return re-buy. You should run and try to get that $100 back before they close! SERIOUSLY! Go and try to do SOMETHING!

I know some stores have 15 days on opened electronics returns. Go get your money!!!!!!

All thought it's been a couple of months since I've last price matched a deal of the day, I've done the same and never had an issue. I've done it both in store and over the phone with customer service.

In my opinion it would be foolish not to try to get the price match as the worst that could happen is the manager says no.

There are random electronics through the week but I normally only post games. No other Blu-Ray deals this week (There was a Lord of the Rings Trilogy deal today that may still be there). Once I see next weeks deals, I'll probably make a movie DotD thread in the DVD & Blu forum.

Vyse, do you know if bb is going to do dedicated video game dotd every day again this year heading into Christmas? There were some crazy deals last year and I am hoping to cash in again.

What was the deal last year
