I am missing 5 camos for combat knife. Seriously for one camo they want you to kill someone with the combat knife, then kill them again with their own weapon! That sounds seriously hard, even if it is only 5 times. Also for another combat knife camo you have to get 5 bloodthirsty medals, which is 5 kills without dying. Good luck with that!

For the crossbow im up to 181/300 kills before it opens up the additional challenges for the rest of the camos.

Can you unlock emblems in combat training? I really want the reaper emblem so i can make a sons of anarchy logo. But you need to get 25 kills without dying. -_-

7th, are you still playing mostly Hardcore? Those blood-thirty medals may just be that much harder on HC TDM given the extra damage guns do. I just two nights ago setup a custom class with tactical knife only and have gotten a couple blood-thirsty medals. (haven't unlocked the camo challenge yet though). I do find knifing much harder in this game because it seems to miss a lot. I think the launcher multi-kills are going to be a PITA though since I find it hard enough to kill a single person with the SMAW on top of the fact that it has 1 shot.

Also, I originally thought the double-kills required for the Sniper rifles were for 2 kills with 1 bullet but it's just 2 quickly subsequent kills (AFAIK). I did find at least with the sniper rifles it's much easier to get multiple kills with a single bullet using FMJ (I got a triple-kill one-shot on Nuketown the other night using FMJ). Unlocking the camos for the first sniper rifle is going really slooow though since unless it's a direct headshot or an injured person it's at least 2 hits/kill. I might have to play some HC TDM for those

Also, I feel like black hats are backwards. They should immediately blow up betties, claymores, and shock charges to deter camping, while taking control of equipment like sentries, UAVs, AGRs, and guardians. That makes sense to me.

For killing people with combat/balistic knife im doing it in core TDM because often i can run through the fire and kill them. Yes its annoying, especially when you get the stabbing animation 1-3 times and they dont die. For the crossbow ive been doing it in hardcore TDM. Ive given up on the combat knife for now and im working on crossbow and balistic knife.

Well i managed to get 5 kills in a row without dying with the ballistic knife. Was able to do them both in the first 2 games after i got home from shopping. Funny thing is that i got the ballistic knife master card and gold camo after i only did it once. So I had gold camo but not the skull camo. I had the gold camo for the SVU-AS sniper but not the skulls for that either, but it somehow looks like it fixed itself.

Glad i was able to get the gold for ballistic knife, because im about to prestige, but i can prestige and then use my free token on the crossbow, since i will have the combat knife from the start. I still need 4 kill enemy with combat knife.. then again with the weapon they drop. Also need to get 4 blood thirsty medals with combat knife. Its kind of hard, but once i get 2-3 kills in a row i try to camp with shock charges so i can stun them and then rush and stab them.

Oh and here is my new emblem... Lag Ops II wasnt cutting it anymore.

So I like BLOPS 2 MP but not in love with it the way I was with the 1st game. Still it is way more enjoyable for me than MW3 ever was. I just finished the SP and I have to say I was really disappointed. The story was pretty meh and the villain was just not that intriguing to me. They tried to give him a motivation but in the end it seemed so contrived and stretched beyond reason to really accept. I did find it hilarious when you find out David Petraeus was the Secretary of Defense. I guess that is one future not going to happen . I liked BLOPS SP even if it was predictable. In all honesty the last SP COD game I loved was MW2. The last 3 have just been ok. Don't get me started on Strike Force. I was so excited for something new to only be instantly turned off by the execution. Overall the MP is a 9/10, the single player 7/10 and the zombies TBD.

Well the only thing that is stopping me from getting diamond camo on my combat knife, ballistic knife, riot shield, and crossbow is two crossbow challenges.

1. Get 1 bloodthirsty medal using only the crossbow.
I might have to wait until i unlock scavenger before i can do this, since the bow only has 6 shots in it.

2. Get a kill with every round in a clip from your crossbow.
I hope this means 3 kills, and not 6. The most i had was 2 so far. If i have to wait to unlocked shockcharges so when the enemy gets shocked i can shoot the bow and blow them up easy.

But the lag in this game is getting annoying with these challenges. Last few games guys are moving really slow or standing dead still and im aiming right in their bodies and somehow my shots are going past them. Or my favorite, i shoot my bow, get killed, and my shot somehow disappears.

The knifing is kinda janky in this game. I was behind a sniper and I swear I swiped like 3 times before I made contact lol. The opposing team hates my emp grenades on Hardpoint, destroying all their equipment and especially their sentry guns and guardians haha

Yup, knifing is broken.

Can you use your prestige unlock token for perks? I used it on the last assault rifle, but I didn't check if you could use it on perks.

Pretty sure you can use it on anything, first thing i used it on was Ghost perk. 2nd time i used it on crossbow.

Damn man, i got the kill someone with each bullet in a clip for the crossbow. Killed one, then two, then i camped knowing i only needed 1 more kill. All of a sudden 3 guys starting rushing into my building so i fired. I got the 3rd kill and 4th kill, but then ran out of bullets in my crossbow to try to get the bloodthirsty medal. If only i had scavenger perk i could have gotten more arrows. I ended up killing like 9 or 10 in that building before i died, but only 4 were with my crossbow, the rest were with the knife. The bloodthirsty medal is the only one i need for crossbow to unlock diamond, but thats going to be hard without scavenger perk, and i cant unlock that until im level 44 and im only level 22 right now. :(

Yes... I used my first three on Scavenger, Ghost, and then C4.

Finally did it. Got 5 kills with the crossbow in only 6 shots. Thank GOD!!!!! That was so annoying to try to do. I got a little help since i shot a guy running an RC Car, and another one camping. But the last 3 shots were good. Helped that i put the zoom scope on the crossbow. So now i can diamond camo for all specials. Now i just have to get to level 34 again to unlock the riot shield and show it off. lol.

Congrats, I'm sure the Diamond Riot shield looks friggin' awesome. I swear I have no luck with the ballistic knife and Crossbow outside of Gun Game. I haven't looked but do the ballistic knife kills have to be shots or does knifing count as well?

I'm over half-way done with unlocking the Diamond LMGs. The SVU Sniper and 2nd & 4th Shotguns are proving to be a real PITA for 1-shot kills in core. I don't think I can stand trying to do them in HC TDM since it's such a slow, camping, yawn-fest.

Stabbing and shooting it both count, and once you unlock the 5 extra camo challenges you have to stab 25 people, and shoot and retrieve a blade and then kill someone with it 25 times. Its not that bad as it sounds though. I would shoot it into a wall then get it back and then try to kill someone. Didnt take me that long. I just played in core, there you can see the ballistic reticle and it makes it easier to run up and kill someone.

What i think is annoying is when you unlock those 5 last camos and its a challenge you probably have done already. Like i remember the combat knife, i think i needed 5 or so backstabber, but i already got a reward for backstabbing 25 people before i even unlocked that camo challenge. So its kind of dumb making you do it again. Im sure i would have had less bloodthirsty medals to get if they counted before the camo challenge was available for whatever weapon.

Anyway, i really like this game, and it would be fun to rank up every gun, and get diamond skins on everything. But the lag is so annoying it just makes me frustrated every match. I can be on a roll, and then either they spawn behind me or i get killed before i even see the enemy. It really ruins the enjoyment of the game, and i think im going to sell it. I mean why should i keep playing a game that im constantly feeling like its not my fault im dying? I shoot first, and i die first. Sometimes i just die and i dont even hear a gun shoot at all. Worst lag ive dealt with since gears of war 2.

Is there a date you have to use the nuketown 2025 map by? I didnt see anything on the paper with the code.

BTW im looking to sell my code if anyone is interested.
