Why are people so offended with Bestbuy doing this? If you've received this for free with pre-order, then that means you've got this without having to pay $10. Shouldn't you be more mad if they start to give this out for FREE? Then that means you didn't receive anything of value for pre-ordering.

BTW, i saw the thread made in ATLUS Forum was created by Gargus. Isn't he supposed to win some kinda Villain of the year here sometime ago?

It's a hori screen cover, just place it on mine is nice, no scratches or bubbles and i didn't need anything to place it on. On a side note I don't mind them selling them as I had reward zone certificates, so it was only 3 bucks or so as i had 2 left on a gift card.

Better than some of the fellow cags on here charging 22 shipped for one. And yes there is a user on here doing that.

It just seems shady to me. As if they decided just to hold onto them and sell them for extra profit.

I guess everyone just wants to be sure Best Buy isnt going behind Atlus's back or whatever, because if that is the case its pretty screwed up.

Beat me to it. Yeah, Gargus was something of a Grumpy Gus: if I remember correctly he was banned from posting; its possible that he saw this thread here while lurking and then posted in the Atlus forums.

I agree it's not right, but just saying that if they were really crooked there are people more so. And besides, not like Best buy or any other retailer always plays fair.

Well if the hypothetical you mentioned earlier was to be true, and BB did cut a deal with ATLUS, I of course would have no problem with this what so ever. Otherwise I've made my point pretty clear. If Best Buy were to give these out for free w/ purchase of P4G, I'd be fine with that too. In the end, it would all go to supporting the developer, ATLUS. Who isn't even that big of a developer to begin with.

Assuming Best Buy is doing this without any permission from ATLUS, you don't see anything wrong in BB selling a pre-order skin, one that clearly states "NOT FOR SALE", and in which they had absolutely no hand in producing, for 25% of the games retail value?

Has anyone actually tried to buy one? If I remember correctly, the Assassin's Creed III and Prototype 2 steelbooks were both listed for sale on BB's website, but when you tried to buy them without ALSO preordering the game, your order would be cancelled. I don't know why Best Buy gave them their own listings in the first place (maybe it has something to do with how they process physical bonus items), but the point is that they were cancelled.

This sounds like the exact same thing, especially since they note multiple times in the listing that it is a gift with preorder. It's possibly just a lingering preorder item that BB forgot to remove after P4G came out.

Tbh, i kinda think its neat that bb would sell pre-order items seperately .. No need to report its just a skin anyways not a expansive preorder item

That's the only reason I can see anyone here being mad .if anyone here thinks best buy is that stupid to sell any item without the manufactors agreement are missing a few marbles. They know this would be a lawsuit without some kind of agreement so get over it you won't be able to gouge again until when/if they go out of stock

That and now they can't sell their own for this price or more.

I already ordered the game w/skin on NewEgg so I can put it on my Vita but I wanna buy another just to keep it, but $10 seems a lot >.<

I think atlus made a ton of these, I stopped in gamestop today because they supposedly had a premium edition in stock and the manager gave me a skin for free for wasting my time.

I can confirm that if you buy the game from Walmart it comes with this skin/wallpaper. Ordered and received mine this week.

Needing a screen protector, I'd probably order this if I didn't think it looks kind of wonky on the white Vitas. Gonna look for the clear Hori skin instead but I'll be damned if I didn't admit that I first checked to see what people were spending on these over on eBay.

PS: Coincidentally, searching for a Vita skin on BestBuy.com was how I stumbled on this in the first place. Went ahead and downloaded the wallpapers, though.
