You put it in on the doritos/dew xp site, log into live on the site and click apply/redeem whatever it is and then when you log on to your system and play it will tell you after the match when showing your score you have so many double xp rounds left.

Edit....You have a certain number of matches per code, depending on what the code came from. A bag of Doritos is 12 matches worth, a 20 oz Dew is 3 matches. And you can enter as many at a time as you want.

Ah ok thanks wanted to buy some in xbox market place but if its only 12 matches maximum per code(if its doritos) I'll just grind it out

Yeah, if you do Spartan Ops you can max at 11,900 (after doubling) per match which is pretty good. I normally get around 2200-2500 per match (win) in War Games so only maybe 5000 after doubling. So if you do it, Spartan Ops is the way to go.

hmm wish I would have known that when i had like 5 codes I just did Flood though it went pretty fast and got a good amount of XP

I've never seen a single doritos bag for this promo and I've looked all over. I get lots of mt dew 12 packs anyway though. Still haven't used all the 2xp from MW3's similar promo last year since I only played in 2xp events in order to get 4xp.

Yeah I have only seen literally 3 bags of doritos in the last week. I remember seeing a ton of them right before and right after launch. Havent looked for Mt. Dew.

I mentioned this before, but I've been saving the Theater videos of people being assholes and putting them on my fileshare. I intend to e-mail 343i about them, telling them to ban presented, evidence supported assholes from the game. If they want to be morons, they can be forced to do it in custom matches. Playing like that is not welcome in online matches, though.

If no action is taken to remove these players, I'll gladly stop playing all Halo games, as they're not supporting my expectations as a consumer who isn't an online er. If they cannot play the game well with others, don't let them play online at all.

Maybe if they'll take action, people might stop playing like this. Fear of consequence is a pretty big motivator to stop people from playing like dicks.

Or...

You could try starting a CAG clan to prevent from being teamed with dicks (hopefully). There just doesn't seem to be enough interest though.

I don't know what happened, though I suspect grenade, but I got betrayed while playing Team Regicide yesterday. (If the video is still there, 360 has long since been turned off, I'll look around to be sure of what happened.)

Oh speaking of Team Regicide... Looks like its popularity was short lived as it was way down on the pole yesterday. (Currently 4th as I type this.)

Oh I've never played CTF 4th in the rankings is still a large margin between most of the game types though.
Its infinity slayer and btb which is constantly in the 15k-20k range then SWAT and then Regicide and then everything else is >2k (I think I did that right). Hopefully they bring back invasion and drop dominion

I keep meaning to try dominion but never do... Hear its interesting from a friend but he pretty much only play BTB, which is fine with me, so we pretty much just stick to it.

Oh, I specialized for the first time. Talk about disappointment. You get nothing really tangible till you finish it off. There special ability is the last thing to unlock. Really seems like it should have been the first.

Not that it ending up matter but I chose pathfinder consider I usually only play two modes... SWAT and BTB. (And I always find myself with a turret in my hands at some point* in the battle.)

* I would say many points in the battle but I don't want to be viewed as the idiot slogging around at half speed carrying a turret.

Dominion is just BTB with less people I don't understand why they have 4v4,6v6 and 8v8. Same here all I play is SWAT and BTB

I was using those for a while but I almost kind of regret it now. I've been playing quite a bit so I'd be at a fairly high level anyway, but I'm at 66 already and I could sort of see the day come where I max out and have little incentive to play anymore. Oh well, it's still a ways off.

Isn't that what the Commendations are for? While I don't think people will max all of them, you'll definitely have lots to complete well after you hit max rank. Especially if you at least try to max one playlist and one of the weapon sets. Plus, these Commendations are more attainable than the ones in Reach, though there are some that really seem impossible.

i love the dew promotion.... i got a ton of codes from listia (see my sig) but sadly you can only do 200 matches total... i've allready redeemed that many codes but am still redeeming more because i'd love to win a prize!!! (still have 95 matches of double xp to play through, will be playing some spartan ops, thanks for the tips!)

Dominion is pretty fun. It's like a gametype that promotes camping my understanding on how to win in this gametype is just hold on to more than 1 base and you win. It's a good gametype if you need any ordnance kills with UNSC/forerunner weapons. I needed SAW kills and they drop everywhere on meltdown

Yeah Dominion is a cross between Invasion and Territories. I like it.
