GG, Blade. I can't wait til you get the shit kicked out of you. I hope Coby Fleener gets herpes. Big changes coming to Chicago in the offseason.
Coby Fleener is a hoss, dude is 6'6" and pretty fast for TE, I been putting my XP into catch for him. Also, I have given almost every defensive player I have big hitter(even the CBs) which may account for some of those fumbles. Also, bumped Patrick Willis to 99 Hit Power. Hey you dished me the same beatings last year, I hated being in your division.

I've said multiple times that I have proven to be and I have no problem leaving, I've only stated going into this I didn't know how I would match up in a league. Which is the truth, no matter how much n8 would like to pretend it isn't.

Can we just leave it that Chetty will leave at the end of the season? I don't see why anymore discussion is required.

Once the Jets vs Dolphins game is done we can advance.

Phins win 31-13. The jets jumped out to a 10-0 lead but two pick 6's with 30 seconds left before half put Miami in the lead and they didn't look back. Gg droppin

I am really excited for my game against the Panthers. The blockbuster deal that sent Cam Newton to San Francisco and Frank Gore and Alex Smith to Carolina really changed both these teams. It will be interesting to see how this game goes as we never met during the regular season.

are you ing serious? LOL in both those games you could have scored 50 if you wanted to. The fact is, you ran down the clock, and also went down instead of scoring a TD in 2 of our games. So yes, you absolutely destroyed me.

I am still fairly new to the league, so correct me if I am wrong in any of this. Just my 2 cents based on what I have seen.

I have never played N8, Chetty, or Hemingway, but a few things were apparent as soon as I joined the league and checked out what was going on in the league as far as stats and records. Ryan Tannehill not only had the top passer rating in the league, but his team was undefeated. Looking at his scores, he did seem to have competitive games, so I will give him that. I then noticed that the Patriots had chosen to go with Ryan Mallett as their starting quarterback. This would be insane for anyone to do unless you were really good at the game and confident that you could still compete with anyone despite the obvious handicap. Looking at defensive stats, I see the Patriots DBs are leading the league in interceptions. They had 3 corners and a safety make the Pro Bowl. Seems like these are 2 owners who have a very good grasp on the game as a whole compared to everyone else in the league.

The other major thing I notice is Chris Johnson's rushing numbers. Averaging over 200 yards rushing per game with over 9 yards per carry as well as breaking LT's rushing TDs record. On top of that, Javon Ringer is getting over 8 yards per carry with 14 TDs. Now, I would assume based on these stats that the Titans owner has some tricks of his own when it comes to running the ball. Titans won most of their games with a nice lead. I honestly don't understand the argument of all you had was CJ, so that's why you ran the ball so much and was so successful at it. Shouldn't it be easier for me to stop CJ if I know there is a good chance of him getting the ball? Those stats just seem ridiculous to me. I could understand getting it against the CPU in an offline Connected Careers, but against real human opponents who are supposedly of similar skill? I don't understand that.

It would be very hard to have a balanced league where everyone is the same skill. There will probably always be a group that are better players than the rest, some are just more obvious than others. Not saying any of these guys should have to leave because they are one of the better players, but I do think there is something wrong about getting angry with others because they are clearly superior, when you also seem to have an advantage over a lot of guys here. Just look at the Titans final scores during the season. Most of them are not close. 2 out of 3 losses came to the owners you want to leave. So what happens next season? CJ gets another 3k yards, his team has maybe one or two losses. Does someone have a fit about not being able to stop his running game and call him out as being better than everyone else? Chetty and Hemingway are not innocent here, but it doesn't seem to me like N8 is either and not much is said about it because they are afraid of backlash from the commissioner. As some people have said before, maybe it would be best if the league was run by multiple people who may have different opinions and aren't afraid to disagree with each other. If that were the case, then this wouldn't be such a big deal and it probably would have been resolved in a quick and respectable manner.

There are no innocent or guilty parties here. It is what it is with regards to chetty and hemingway. Their skill level is fantastic, and that's really something that is a credit to them.

I also think its unfair that Nate, who's spent the last year plus building this league up, is being sort of pushed out the door here. No one has come out and said it, but, at least to my reading, it's been hinted at. The guy has put a lot of effort into making this work, and has given up more of his personal time than anyone else to put it together and keep it moving.

I don't think anyone is trying to "push him out the door" but instead suggesting he get help to run the league. I think most can agree that it seems to put a lot of pressure on him having to deal with all the issues of the league himself.

Meh, I'm just calling it like I see it. A lot of talk of a multiple commissioners, how he might be too good for the league, etc. that's just how it reads.

I don't think anyone has actually suggested he leave but himself actually. In my original post I suggested that we look at a second commissioner because he does have alot on his plate and I know the other league does it but didnt really know why. It seems this would be the perfect situation for it as N8 could vent a little while the other can be the cooler head. As I said he got a little upset understandably as we all do whether it be because of losing or the way madden is in general but as our commish I feel he was a little out of line in posting what he did and even the way he did.

This whole conversation and ALL the stuff that has been said is because of what he originally posted on the subject. My .02 aside, I feel this could have and possibly should have been a subject in which should have been handled via PM. Instead we have been reading about this crap all day. Even N8 quasi apologized and tried to lay it to rest but here we are still going through this!

Can we please finish this post as everyone, yes EVERYONE has/had valid points....so lets lay the dead horse down to rest!

Doesn't this fact alone actually speak to my ability to mix up my playcalling and audible at the line of scrimmage. It's playing the game with intelligence. It's the art of deception. Someone telling me I "run the same play all the time" is the most ignorant thing anyone could say. I have 8 different plays I run out of that formation, and I have custom audibles set up for them. I look at the defense, I take my best guess where pressure is going to come from, and I try to avoid it. Since they're all out of the same formation, when I call an audible, my guys don't move, and if I'm able to read the defense quick enough and get my audible called, sometimes it goes unnoticed.

When people start cheating the outside run, I go up the middle. If someone wants to bring all out heat, I have a quick pass play (which doesn't work against a team like the Pats with ridiculous press corners). I run play action on 1st down to keep people honest (tried this in the Pats game, but Locker's accuracy in the snow was infinitely worse than Ryan Mallett's for whatever reason). That's football to me. It's not taking a mid tier QB and dominating the shit out of everybody because Madden lets you get away with it.

I definitely put up a lot of yards with Johnson, but I had at least 3 CPU games this season too. My team is also rated 76 and my defense is full of holes. Maybe you could argue that Chetty's team is on par with mine...but I lost 3 games this season. As for Hemingway, he's as good as he is and still took one of the best teams in the game (which is part of the reason I said Blade could be next in line too). I don't think comparing either of them to me is a valid comparison.

But the point stands, anybody who proves to be basically unbeatable has no place here. It's not about a range of skill, because I 100% agree with you...we're never going to get everyone totally equal. But I am nowhere close to unbeatable. There are enough people in this league who have exchanged beatings over the past two years (myself, doc, Kaster, DVO, pitfallharry, Dark Rider, Blade, Superstar, etc.) When these people play, the games are competitive enough that one team doesn't have to back off in the 3rd quarter so the score doesn't get out of hand.

None of us are at a level where we don't lose games reasonably often (though, if I'm being honest, I think Blade would be the next closest to "graduating"). Then we've gotten a lot of new guys this year who seem like they're either right there with us, or very close (I was going to name names here, but I started to realize it's almost everyone else). It's just crazy to look at two guys who are a combined 29-1 against the rest of the league and not think they're head and shoulders above everyone else.

I gotta put you right there with blade if you are going based on standings and styles. Blade is a HEAVY runner like you N8. If your being honest and from out looking in you gotta at least see the resemblance? Did you not have a better record with much better stats? Lol

Any chance I can get on the wait list for the league? Based on what I've read, I'm certainly not good enough for the official league.

You might be right. I haven't played Blade this year, so I haven't seen how I'd match up against him. I still consider him part of "our group" though. If I've actually advanced beyond anyone, I'd be surprised. I still definitely consider my games with you and the others to be ridiculously intense battles, where one play makes the difference. Not games where I can't do anything at all...which to me is kind of the difference.
