Looking forward to how the offseason will shake out. Bucs are definitely going to be making some moves.

Didn't realize it was Manninghams last year.

Big names that I definitely won't be resigning:

Mario Manningham
Brandon Jacobs

Maybe not that big...

So I think there may be a possible glitch. I scouted a player there not under unscouted or scouted. But yet they show up on " Team Needs" and it shows available player acquire via draft. But yet I can't find them in the draft. Has this happened to anybody else. I won't say the player because well he'll be my first pick. haha

ya i looked at the falcons teams contracts earlier and well it says its matt ryan last year which is weird becuz i have the falcons in the other league and his last year wasnt until the 2nd season but in this league the first season is his contract year. im not sure if it has things mixes up or wut but i guess we will find out in the offseason. should be interesting though

It's showing the contracts as though we are already in the 2013 season. If you look at the guys who were rookies this year, instead of saying rookie, it says they have 1 year of experience. This made me do a double take as well, because it said Kenny Britt only had 1 year remaining on his contract...and I know the game never notified me of that.

We had a similar issue with contract length in the other league, though I can't 100% recall what the exact problem was. Don't quote me on this, but I think it might have had to with how the game handles restricted vs. unrestricted Free Agents (spoiler: inelegantly, but that's par for the course). Fero might remember better as he was advancing us and also looked into the issue more deeply than I did.

I believe the key was to make sure you look at your re-signings screen, even if you didn't think there were guys who needed to be re-upped. There might be some people in there you didn't expect.

Eagles are open to a lot of trades. Only players i'm looking to hold onto for sure are Bryce Brown, Demarius Johnson, and Desean Jackson. I'd be open to offers on a lot, especially Vick.

Looking to move up to several picks in the first round. No one is off the table except Manning, Miller, and Tamme.

Ok, well just using Britt as the example here, he SHOULD be signed through the 2013 season (as per his real life contract). However, in game, it shows his 2012 cap hit to be $2.87 and his 2013 cap hit to be $0. I'm not well versed in my NFL finances here, but would he have zero cap hit because he's in the final year of his deal? (ie. coming off the books) I know you guys had problems with some players, but this would just blow my mind if the game screwed up contracts to the point of shorting players an entire year and not telling you about it.

Maybe have a day of only your own teams free agent resigning to make sure people don't get screwed on players they thought would still be on their team?

How the game lists it is pretty confusing, but everyone who shows up during the FA resigning period will be off the books and be a free agent if you don't resign them then. So that should make everything clear once we hit that point.

Anyone know if you can resign your players and then trade them?

I guess I'm just going to wait before I continue anymore trade talks, cause I have no idea who is staying. I swear it looked like I was only losing 9 guys before and now it's more.
