I think we should all cool it with the personal attacks. Don't take anyone's opinion about whats going on in the league too personally. We're all here to play and enjoy madden. Lets try to keep our heads cool and have fun guys.

We don't need to insult each other to have the league run smoothly.

Bills/Pats tonight at 10 est.

Vikings send:
Prince Amaukamara-CB-age 24-OVR 80-Contract 1 year 2013 1.80M
Trade Rejected

The conclusion was that the Lions were getting the better end of this.

The committee was torn on this one though, so it probably won't take a ton of fixing to pass.

we have already talked about if it failed... obviously i disagree i feel prince on this game is not the top tier cb that people consider he would be as a 1st rd draft pick and on alot of rosters would actually be used as a nickle.. i feel like javid best is underrated because hes not a star... regardless tho he wants best i want prince its gonna happen... in ur opinion i feel if i add a 2nd u guys will say its to much but he agreed to it... do u personally think it will fail with my 2nd

I don't think it needs even a 2nd to get through, honestly. The committee was split right down the middle on this one (only the 2nd time that's ever happened, actually) so it really was very close.

Maybe in a tie, the two parties who proposed the trade should be considered the tie-breaker. Just a thought.

Well, obviously the two people in the trade are going to put it through in every case. They are the ones that proposed it for review in the first place.

Precisely, which means that any tie will always be put through. Seemingly, the trade is fair if its split down the middle.

Thank you for your input. We'll continue to do things the way that has worked fantastically without issue all year.

So by that Same Policy if a jury is deadlocked on a criminal case , We Should allow the criminal to determine their guilt?

Sorry, That's not the way it works.

We all know how that's going to work out.

Lmao.
This is Madden, not a criminal trial and there is no need to compare the two.

My point is...a deadlocked committee means that the trade has merits on both sides. Forcing the proposers to change the trade to change one persons mind doesn't seem fair to the people who agreed to a trade that they obviously believe is already fair and equitable.

The system works fine, we're not changing it. We've had over 70 trades this season, and exactly 2 in which there's been a 3-3 split. It is simply not an issue. The rules are we need 4 votes to pass, that's how it works.

Honestly, let me get real with you for a second Ramesu: It's cool that you want to contribute and make your opinions heard. But when you seem to want to make every little thing, no matter how inconsequential, into a big issue it becomes very difficult for anybody to take anything you say in the thread remotely seriously.

It's beyond transparent that your main motivation is automatically disagreeing with everything the commissioners do. Which is certainly your right to do. But don't be surprised when we dismiss your suggestions, since all you ever do is grouse and complain.

You've had some good ideas over the life of the franchise, but unfortunately you bury them so far under mountains of inconsequential petty complaints (like this) that it's nearly impossible to find them. If you want your opinions to have the slightest impact, or affect even a modicum of change, you need to pick your spots better.

I can kinda see where he is coming from here on this one if there is a deadlock 3 on one side 3 on the other then that seems like a fair trade if anything was added then wouldnt the people who voted it as fair then would consider it un fair the other waybif something was added?
if the committee was an odd number instead of an even one then there wouldnt be.a tie or any talk like this. Or if keep the even number and if it results as three on obe side three on the other trade is passed tie goes to the runner aka people that proposed the trade. Just an idea

Ramesu, I have to ask... what's the point? Why make an issue out of something that's definitely not a problem. Sprice doesn't care. He's going to add something like a 3rd or a 4th rounder and it's going to pass in a day and we won't be talking about this trade ever again. I just don't get why with such a minor issue you're trying to stir up shit. Makes no sense to me.

Because I've expressed opinions on details about two of the processes that affect the entire league I somehow have it out for the commissioners? My sole purpose for mentioning my opinion on anything is to help improve the league whenever I see a problem. 2 trades out of 70 are two picks or two players etc who would otherwise belong to a different team, I do see an issue with that. I don't have any personal vendetta against any of you but obviously I can't say the same for you.

And somehow, we've reverted back to making this personal again. Smh, I really try not to participate too much here because I hate the way you generally respond and I don't like to start trouble. But, you act like a complete asshole when it comes to this for no apparent reason. I hope you feel better about yourself once you're done typing, knowing you rule with an iron fist. It's comical and sad mostly, how personal and serious this gets whenever anyone doesn't agree with you.
