I hope Dust is having a good sales. It may be the only game I'm interested in.

Man if these are 50% off I think I'm going to buy more in this sale then I did total in all sales last year/this year up until this one.

For Sure: Frogger Hyper Edition (been waitin for this), Jet Set Radio, Hell Yeah!, Walking Dead

Thinking about it, most likely: Dungeon Fighter Live, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Ep. 2

Depends how the trial is: Deadlight, RAW

Definitely interested pending prices on Borderlands GoD, Borderlands 2 season pass, Fez, Hell Yeah, Dust, Deadlight. Was hoping for a re-tread of GTA 4 on the Rockstar day at the $10 pricepoint again, but doesn't look like it.

Overall, even at 33%, a much better showing than the Black Friday sales.
Totally agree with you on that. After checking out Zizi's awesome post, I noted several games of interest. Very interested in the SoA games going on sale, as well as Hell Yeah, the Fruit Ninja Kinect DLC, and anything else that's cheap. Much better than this year's Black Friday sales already.

Dungeon Fighter Live and RAW here if they're cheap. Crossing my fingers for something good on Games on Demand. Sad that Skullgirls didn't make the cut.

Feel sorry for you. I hovered almost of Ubisoft sales (only bought Conviction) and passed over several high acclaimed Arcardes just to think that holiday sales would be massive.

These countdown together with Tropical 4 would merely burn out my pocket of 7000 MSP.

How's Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts? I remember loving the N64 version and having a crush on tootie.
Old 12-13-2012, 02:06 AM   #2890
Thanks MWB, and great find Zizi. Now that is a hell of a sale (assuming all this stuff does get discounts) especially compared to the very underwhelming holiday sale last year.

I have the vast majority of the content from the trade thread here, but there's a good 2000 or so MSP to be spent (closer to 4000 depending on the Borderlands 2 Season Pass). Alas, the 2 games I'm actually waiting for a sale on (Pid and Scarygirl) are nowhere to be found.

No problemo ... let the OP edits commence!
All done in the OP!

Again, big thanks to MWB for this introductory info dump! I know some folks here may get OCD & feel free to edit, rearrange, mangle ... but there's little sense in changing formatting unless you're going to add value, such as pricing, "xbldb" links, Metacritic links, or Giant Bomb's "first look" videos.

Rare lost a lot of their talent when they broke off from Nintendo shortly after making those games. Nuts & Bolts is a passable game as both an adventure game and a Platinum Hits title, but it isn't anything like what you'd expect if you've played the first two. Personally, I played it after replaying Banjo-Tooie in college, and I thought it was pretty bland. It's no longer as quirky or comedic as the other two; the majority of your time is actually spent collecting parts scattered throughout the level to build things and progress to the next part. It just doesn't click very well for me as being a mature fetch quest adventure-platformer. Another thing is noticed was that the levels weren't designed as well as some of the 64 ones were. There wasn't much new, or exciting, or unique to them. It lacked the polish and cohesion that both BK and BT nailed.

They put on Banjo's big boy suspenders, and that took the fun out of a franchise known for its childish, zany goodness. If that sounds like your thing, go for it; it is a best-seller, after all. It's in a double pack with Viva Pinata.

Haha, yeah same here. Maybe will buy only Frogger, but it's not something that i really need.

Really good list tho.

great sale, almost every quality arcade game released this year

much better sale than last year
Old 12-13-2012, 02:50 AM   #2895
I guess we still don't know sale prices, but that is an awesome list. Like 3 or 4 games that I need. Too bad I missed out on the Target points deal!

Wow thank you for your in depth review. After reading the Viva Pinata reviews, this seems like a great game as well. Thanks for your suggestion, I really appreciate it.
Also, how did you play Banjo Tootie, was it on the N64 or is there a way you can download it now? I would like to relive my childhood.
Old 12-13-2012, 02:57 AM   #2897
TWD episode 1, free to play in those days or free to purchase for 0 points to keep?

Lol, Banjo Tootie. They should have named it that instead.

You can get it on XBLA for 1200 points, I believe.

LOL! It's actually Banjo Tooie, but Banjo Tootie sounds cuter. Sweet, I'll definitely check that out sometimes. If only...they can have that game on sale rather than nuts and bolts.

Definitely in for Mark of the Ninja, Dust, and the complete Walking Dead. RAW and Hell Yeah are maybes. Lego games are very large maybes - I'll bite for 400 points each, but that seems very unlikely.
