We have 10 teams confirmed for season 2 and I'm still waiting to hear back from the 5 teams listed as "RESERVED" in the OP. While its disappointing that we've lost a few teams this might actually make it easier to get thru the season since we will be playing more CPU games.

Completely agree.

I'm also hoping/thinking that injuries won't be as bad with less games being simmed. Of course that is going to only happen if people are playing their CPU games, which I don't see being a problem since it's a more "Whenever you want," than a set time.

On a playoff note... I'm really looking forward to seeing how the West plays out. I know Park, Canbanana, and Moo were all really competitive games when I played them. I think the game with Garret was a really close one too (1 or 2 goals apart).

Yeah man, I see this Wild series going 7 to be honest. I've had trouble with all three teams left.

ok well with CHI coming back that makes 11, still waiting on 4 more. Also, if anyone wants to switch teams for next season just post on here which team you want as long as it's not already taken/reserved.

I do enjoy playing with Chicago, but I'm a Pens fan through and through. If DarkTower is out I think it would be fun to switch conferences to play the other teams more. I know they are an "elite" team (I would argue Chicago is just as deep offensively, but Pittsburgh has better goaltending), so if anyone objects that's fine, but I wanted to speak up now before anyone else "claimed" them if it was cool.

I'm perfectly okay with that... I was actually hoping we'd get some West teams to switch over to make it more competitive/balanced. As it stands right now, we only had 4 teams remaining that have confirmed to play season 2 (although I'm pretty sure we can expect Philly back).

I do have to say... Being a Wings fan, you have some shit taste in teams.

DarkTower is not coming back so I switched you in the OP to Pittsburgh. I will boot PIT and boot CHI and then you can join as PIT after the playoffs are over.

With the holidays, I say we aim for a January 1st start date. I know we only have three rounds left, but I'm already seeing problems with my schedule to play Canbanana...I think we'll start our series Saturday at the earliest, and at this point it doesn't make sense to sim any series. Hopefully everyone is done by Sunday, then we give a week for conference finals, another week for Cup Finals.

I'm all for getting this done quick, but I know people's schedules this time of year are nuts.

I'm okay with waiting until the new calendar year. Not only will schedules be crazy but some may get new games for Christmas they want to play right away.

Yeah, plus it gives us a chance to refresh our "love" for the game.

Whenever works for me... My schedule is very flexible, and I can usually be on at any time since I don't have a set schedule. It's just the unexpected times like last night where I end up having to go out without warning that screw me over.

I think news years would be good as well.
