This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

Can't believe Bard's Tale went free! I would have bitten at $.99 or even $1.99. I'm glad I check this thread daily for these updates. Never got around to wishlisting it.
So excited Google Maps is back. While I don't mind Apple Maps, it's not THAT bad, I do miss the ability to skip ahead to familiarize yourself with where you're going. I know how to get to the freeway from my house. |

Not a game, but Google Maps app is out. I tried it and it's good, with one exception being that, unless I'm missing something, it bizarrely does not include integration of the address book. You can see your own home and work addresses, but can't see anything else in the address book. Why? Otherwise it's well designed and the turn-by-turn navigation works great. Good voice quality too. I'll be using it for sure.

Does anybody here play Battle Cats? It's a cool TD game. It's a great time waster and the leveling up makes it horribly addicting. You can enter this code g8tp0 in the main menu once you reach level 7 for free xp which you can use to upgrade your stuff. I only need 10 invites for a free character unlock so I'll delete my code once I get it.

Ascension going free is nice but you're going to want the expansions at some point. It's fully featured without them though. The expansions have been on sale in the past.
Ascension and Reiner Knizia's Samurai are the two best async multiplayer games on Iphone. Lost Cities in third place. Battleline might have been a contender had it had a better implementation. It is a better game than Lost Cities in most ways but LC's app is better designed, prettier, and sexier. Don't get me wrong, Ascension is far from the best card game you'll ever play but Playdek's masterful app design and the game's perfect balance of depth and turn brevity means it is easy to get into or come back to on down the line. Many others like Nightfall and Summoner Wars are denser and more obtuse. Really, in a general sense, I use Boardgamegeeks for my Iphone gaming news more than anything else. "Traditional" games have been a wasteland on Iphone with few exceptions. But board and card games vs. AI or online have been some of the most consistent fun I've had. And I don't mean your dice throwing monopoly crap. Real games of skill and chance like Battleline, Catan, other Eurogames, etc.

GhostGuitar is on sale for 99 cents. Has anyone gotten this app yet? I'm wondering how well it works.

The You Don't Know Jack game is flawless. Was worried it would be too long but it's only 5 questions instead of the normal 20. So much fun!

I cannot find this listed on appshopper.com nor does it show up when I search it on the App Store BUT EA finally released a free version of Scraable HD for iPad. The only link I have is as follows:
http://smarturl.it/ScrabiPFree?IQpar...rabbleiPadFree I do not know what the difference between the pay version and the free version is but if somebody could elaborate on that then that would be nice.

Heroes of Order & Chaos is free, and also fantastic.
This is the MOBO (League of Legends genre) not the MMORPG called Order & Chaos (Same developer and universe though) It's set up very similar to League of Legends on PC. 3 vs 3 or 5 vs 5 co-op or free for all on two different maps. They rotate 5-7 Free heroes a week, and I believe their is 40 so far. Side note: The Order & Chaos MMORPG no longer has a subscription, before you had to subscribe for 1,3,6 months. |
