You need a controller included to trade it in... Unless they changed protocol. Wired or wireless.

Cool, I figured you needed a controller with it. I wonder if they'd accept my wired Black Ops Precision controller with it? I don't ever use the damn thing due to the wire being more annoying than I thought.

Sorry, I never trade in game systems, never really have had the need to because I usually just hand them down. In this case I have a useless system for once, might as well get something for it.

b ops controller will be separate from the system so u won't get full value for the xbox

All console trade ins requires 1st party controllers.

No worries, I have a couple of extra 1st party controllers lying around, hopefully I can track down the battery compartment for it since I always use battery packs.

Anyone know how much a Wii would get with the promo? Current quote is a month old, wondering if it dropped at all.

i wouldnt imagine much since used wii sells for 69.99

I didn't think the 10% applied on console buying or trade in. It is weird they bumped the value of the fat 360, I would have done it with the +$50 promo but I guess that is the whole idea of their strategy :( Still not a bad deal since I bought the system for $100 brand new at Walmart 3 years ago.

Yeah not a bad deal but with that +50% promo the deal becomes even better somewhat. I guess I'll be heading to GS tomorrow for a shiny new slim.

it may be a stupid question, but is the 50% only for the console or all other items also in the same trade in?
