Yeah I joined the wait list about 10 minutes after it was 100% claimed, and somehow still made it through!

$35 is a really good price considering it has the Microsoft-made wireless adapter, which for whatever reason they don't make any more. Even the Chinese knock-off receivers are $10-$15, so I think it's a good price.

EA Yanked it from Steam a while back for an unknown reason and there is currently no way to get it for the Steam version of the game AFAIK.

Still, for $2 and change for the base, I won't complain even if I can't get the expansion.

Jade Empire was the last deal the day before the sale started.

So is the Sims that good? It's always looked super interesting. Does it have long playability or just a short run till it gets boring?

IF you mean the first Trine, I still have a giftable copy lingerin' around. Want it for two dolla fifteh?

That said, no deals for me today. Arma II is interesting but since those moneyhoggin' barfs won't sell it under 12,50 euros it's no deal. Not worth a mod that's still in alpha phase.

Also here's my haul:

Saints Row 3 Complete: 7,50

Yep.

To activate Hunted: The Demon's Forge and DOOM 3 BFE, or sell...

McPixel - 50% off $2.49
RE5 66% off $6.79
RE: Operation Raccoon City 66% off $16.99
Deponia 75% off $4.99
Old 12-26-2012, 05:02 PM   #6089
Hmmm... Raccoon City is 66% off as well at $17. Dunno if I should bite; base price may drop, but then again, Capcom is tight on discounts in the first place.
Old 12-26-2012, 05:03 PM   #6090
McPixel looks weird enough that I would play it for free, or maybe a dollar, but $2.50 feels too expensive.

Oh wow, all this time I didn't even realize it was a standalone game.

In for Resident Evil 5, might grab McPixel. Also is Tropico 4 Modern times worth grabbing?

Oh you mean Sims Medieval itself? Yes it's stand alone, not a Sims 3 expansion.

Sims Medieval has its own expansion called Pirates and Nobles but that is the one I was referring to that got yanked from Steam.

Deponia looks interesting. Capcom is putting up some surprisingly good discounts. Color me impressed. Operation Raccoon City's retail shouldn't be $49.99 though.

Yeah, all this time I thought Medieval was just another expansion pack to the Sims 3. That's why I asked how it worked since I wasn't sure if it was a separate world when you loaded up the game or if it would just override your current game. That explain why I could never find it by searching 'Sims 3 Medieval'.

Hunted was an awesome game on the 360 imo. If the pc port holds up I highly recommend it. I know I would buy it if i had some spare cash laying around.

Oh btw, if anyone sees a bargain in the EU version of Steam where you'd get ripped off in dollars, don't hesitate to drop me a PM. We'll work it out.
Old 12-26-2012, 05:15 PM   #6097
McPixel? More like... McBundleFodder.

So if you go through the Australian Steam Store and you purchase Sims Medieval, can you get in trouble? LOL

It won't let you buy it.

To any ass hats (been 2 so far) who are thinking of adding me to steam and saying they have paid already, I ask everyone to include their CAG when paying and always ask for their fullname in the steam client before sending games.

Stop wasting both of our time.
