My 3ds like new tradein was rejected for "minor scratches" *sigh*... they better send it back to me in the same condition .

My Halo 4 got rejected because it lacked a manual. MoFo, there is no manual.

^ damn that sucks. Maybe next time put a note saying game did not come with a manual. I traded in bf3 for 360 and I lost the manual so I just put fable 3 manual in there and it got accepted, so if you're desperate put a random game manual in there and take a chance.

I got my 3DS back today, and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I got the exact same system sent back in the exact same condition. How do I know?

The box I shipped it in was never opened.

I've actually started doing the note thing, but we really shouldn't have to. It annoys me that a faq like this even needs to exist for Amazon's trade-in program. After we got our hands collectively slapped during the retro game trade-in massacre of 2012 we had evidence that at least someone at Amazon is aware of this thread. I wish they would drop in when they aren't getting their clocks cleaned and actually address the remaining consumer facing problems in the program.

Yeesh. They should really just stop doing console trade-ins.

My Halo 4 was accepted, but I left the Xbox Live trial or whatever in the case. I don't know if that made any difference.

I contacted Amazon's customer service about my 3DS trade-in. The solution they offered was that I resubmit it, and they'll be sure to take a look at it this time. Of course they will, and they'll give me $86 for my trouble.

I told them it was down to $86, and that I didn't have confidence in them even if they let me submit it for $122. Nothing would prevent them from simply opening the box, deny it without looking at it, and then send it back to me again. I'm not about to risk getting it damaged in shipping when I'm almost guaranteed to get nothing.

Good luck finding those controllers. I haven't seen them in stores for well over a year. I actually own one and still have the original packaging, but I use it as a PC controller and while it is a third-party controller, I actually quite like it. That's still an insane TIV and I could probably just get an official 360 controller for PC use.

I can't find the original manual. Do you think they'd still take it as a good?

The PS3 version of that controller is $19.99 at Bestbuy.com and trades for $31.55 at Amazon if you're sitting on alot of Bestbuy giftcards and wanna convert to Amazon.

Good idea but like others have said I have never seen this controller in store before. And it is not available online.

Have the controller but no packaging. Sigh

I Have the controller, manuel, usb wire, the wifi connecting usb and the card but no plastic packaging...I throw it aways because it cannot reuse..I am very regretful now..Does it mean I only can get the amount of gift card for acceptable condotion according to you guys trading video game accessories in amazon?
