If you mean these (or their updated version, they're made with imitation arcade parts that don't perform as well - you can play on them, but once you switch to Japanese parts, you'll feel the difference. Those are also substantially smaller (which may or may not be a problem, depending on your hands) and have no cable compartment.

If you're talking about TEs, they're pretty similar in performance.

Oh, The TEs.

When I clicked on the NCIX link, I had the impression it was on the same level as Capcom TEs but wasn't quite sure...

This stick is on par with the TE sticks. It uses sanwa parts just the like madcatz ones.

My only gripe with the stick is that the start button is on the face, rather than the top side which increases the likelihood of pausing a game. This can have pretty bad consequences, especially in a tournament setting.
