I'm not taking anything for granted. This was no bigger an upset than a Houston win tomorrow would be.

I've been saying this for a while, when's the last time Denver beat a legit team? Nothing but creampuff teams during that win streak. Also Peyton Manning sucks after a 1st round bye. And in the cold. And generally in the postseason.

Well they beat the Ravens in Baltimore. I'd say they just removed themselves from the creampuff category.

Wasn't the same Ravens team with all the injuries. In addition to Denver they lost to Pittsburgh, Washington, and Cincy in their last 5 games.

Actually, I think the Texans winning would be a slightly bigger upset. You could see some trends going the Ravens way (the weather, Ravens getting healthier, Flacco's improved performance the past few weeks) but Houston hasn't had that, really. Their offense has basically shut down.

In other news, as much as I love Caldwell as OC (not enough to hand him the job next year, but he has been pretty good), I have to wonder what the hell was up with all the running plays in OT when passing is what won the game. The only play that worked was the draw, and the Ravens only used that one time.

Oh, and I feel much more confident about the Ravens going against the Pats than Peyton.

Tebow 0/0 in the superbowl, and will never go to one.
Manning 1/2 in the superbowl

I have been wondering this for a while now: Why is it so dark down there? Mile High was bright as hell, but Candlestick looks like the lights are about to go out.

EDIT: I guess it's just Fox. Their studio is dark too.
