i just put my scv and prototype 2 copys up for sale on craigslist. lets see what happens. since i still have my recipt i have nothing to loose here wether i sell them or not

Just snagged up Prototype 2 for about $6, out the door. When she price matched Amazon, she used the first price she saw, which was a third-party seller fulfilled by Amazon that was $30.99, less the $25 coupon. That price makes me even more comfortable with it being a blind buy.

So the Prototype 2 coupon doesn't automatically ring up when buying the Blackwatch Collector's Edition. But is it official Best Buy policy to allow the CE? And is there any proof that I can show like a statement from a Best Buy official?

So I bought a used game tonight and according to gamer unlocked I get 10% and when I went to use promo coupon for extra $10 off I was told not possible....they would have to ring it up without my reward account to use the coupon and I would have to call to get points added later...
Does that sound normal? I normally dont buy used at BB so wanted to ask the experts....
Guess its worth a call to RZ line right?

Im used to stacking coupons for BluRays and all the shenanigans that go along with MFG coupons so I knew something was up but just wanted out of the store after turning in some cell phones and figured I would call and get a GC or credit when I had time....
Funny thing was he kept reading the coupon and saying it couldnt be combined yet the coupon specifies to ring everything in that order....guess he should have called for manager override but whatever....Thanks again.....

Had this happen to me the other day. For some reason it doesn't stack properly like it used to. Went back in and asked for the $2.50 I was owed after using the $10 coupon on a $35 game. Used it to buy Angry Birds for my little bro.

I don't think I have ever gotten the 10% with a coupon. I know you are supposed to, but I don't think their system automatically does it. I believe it requires an override.

The GCU for preowned? Last time I used the $10 off $29.99 it was applied automatically. Your rep must be doing something wrong.

Try having the employee manually type in your phone number for your Reward Zone account, I believe that makes a difference for whatever reason. The one time my GCU 10% used discount didn't automatically combine with a used coupon was when I had them scan a printout of the barcode for my Reward Zone... using phone number instead always works for me (last time was months ago though).

So, is this just a mistake or do you think this is foreshadowing that FF XIII-2 is going to go on sale to $30 (thus making it $10 after coupon, as opposed to $20 right now)?

Looks like you don't need to buy the CE of prototype 2 to get the extra game content.. thats included in the copies we saw in BB today.

We almost picked it up, but while it might be fun, our backlog of games is huge, and there are other more enticing titles we'd want to get to before we'd get around to it.

(We JUST realized we also have all 5 Asassins Creed games to burn through!)
