I have four games listed two against the cpu controlled Stars and two against user controlled teams (Jets & Bruins).

Also it would be nice if you got some kind of message in the mailbox about free agents that you were trying to sign to keep better track of them. (I.E. "Player X" has decided to take another offer or "Player Y" is still going over his options)

Really this could all have been done from a dedicated webpage that any geek could put together. And correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that a huge asset to have on staff for a video game company "Web Designer"?

The best part is there are areas in your teams mailbox for "trades offered" and "free agent offers" but nothing ever shows up listed there.

Who signed Enroth? Just curious. And was I the only person to offer Getzlaf a contract?

I've played my three CPU games and managed to go 3-0. I think I have Edmonton, Buffalo, and Washington left this period. I'll be sending out a message later to see when everyone can play.

Played my 3 CPU games tonight... Definitely had some rust since I don't think I had played any NHL since the Finals. First game I had a miraculous OT thriller against Toronto. It was 0-0 late in the 3rd and they scored with 35 seconds left. I ended up tying it up and forcing OT with .8 seconds left after Plekanec jammed one in. He then won it in OT with about 20 seconds left. The other two games my team showed up. Beat Colorado 10-0 and Calgary 9-0.

Bad news is the injury bug already hit me. Lost my Con Smythe winner Bourque for 28 games with a broken collarbone, and then lost Plekanec in the next game for 4 games with an injured foot. So far my new off-season additions of Doan, Del Zotto, and Carlson have really been helpful.

I went looking to offer contracts to unrestricted free agents the first day when I started offering my players their contracts however the options never came up to off them one. I guess I must have been looking wrong so I just made offers to players on my team only I have not been able to get back on to see if the first offer was accepted or not. After the way the past few weeks have been I'm now wondering if I will even have the time for the second season.

Sorry, I came down with a stomach bug that put me out of commission for the night. I should be able to play tonight around 8:45 PM EST or 11:00 PM EST. I may be on straight through unless my wife comes home after her book club and wants to watch an episode of The Walking Dead or something.

Does anybody know what happened to Rask and Thomas? They are not on Boston's roster anymore and I couldnt find them on the free agent list or on another teams roster. Did the previous owner trade them away last season?

I know they really handled setting the rosters before the season poorly.

After signing Del Zotto, Carlson, Campoli, and Doan, the CPU decided to send Pacioretty to the AHL. My team's Salary cap was over for the active roster. So they figured sending my 2nd best forward to the AHL was smart instead of sending the 66 OVR 28 year old wing who never played a game and the $3.33 million dollar rookie who is 60 something overall.

The only other thing is that I wish they would not automatically adjust your roster after an injury. I spend 15 minutes getting the roster just how I wanted to, only to have an injury happen and all my lines get wiped.

Anyway, when are we advancing? I have one more game against Winnipeg. I PM'd him yesterday.

I went over the cap as well and the CPU sent Ehrhoff to the AHL (please don't put a waiver claim on him cause I called him back up). That was stupid. Anyways we will advance Sat morning.

EDIT: I will be without my Xbox this weekend so i will advance us Friday around 5:30 pm

Not sure who I have to play but I wont be able to play till after 6 tonight so if you need to play St. Louis play them seeing how we are advancing at 5:30. I'm not even sure what players I still have that were free agents.

Kinda late, but Whoever has to play me can play my CPU. I think I only had la as a user controlled team left.
