Thanks for everyone's comments. Bought 7 with this deal so far but am having trouble finding any more that I don't already have/want. Hard to pass up buying for $5 on many blus but I have now started buying some that got not so great reviews on Hi-Def digest. Guess for $5 I can handle it.

Breaking Bad 1/2
Animal House
Midnight in Paris
Blues Brothers
Enemy at the Gates
The triple packs are 3 separate discs in one case. They're the same quality as the standalone Bluray you might buy of the same title, just consolidated.

Sorry I only skimmed through the pages looking for the answer to this. Will the steelbooks still be only $9.99 for the week of 1/20/13?

All of the triple packs I bought even had the slipcovers, so if someone wants to buy those off me just send me a PM as I don't care for slipcovers at all.

Training Day/John Q/The Pelican Brief
American History X/A History of Violence/True Romance
16 Blocks/The Last Boy Scout/Last Man Standing
Beetlejuice/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory/Corpse Bride
Superman/Superman 2/Superman Returns

Sherlock Holmes Steelbook
Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows Steelbook
Smokin Aces
Coraline
Taken 2 with T-Shirt

King Kong x2
Jaws x2
Casino
you have a PM from me sir

Man, I didn't know how much work this would be. I already traded in 80 dvd's. Had to trade in 15 a day at 3 different locations cause they only allow you to trade 5 at a go. The trading part is getting better cause the reps are getting used to it but the wait times on the customer service lines are what's killing me. the worst part is when I find another DVD in my house and I'm like "man..." my anal retentive side makes me want to trade it in. Spent over $400 on steelbooks. they actually look damn cool lined up. Could use them as wall decorations or something.

Holy crap. That's a lot of trade-ins. I've only done 15 trade ins so far. There aren't that many $10 blus that I want to pick up. And there are no steelbooks in my area besides an ungodly amount of The Matrix.

If any of you are near the Downey,CA store, they have ONE LOTR Return of the king steelbooks left. I should have hid it for you guys I'm sorry. I left it in front of the Extended Edition packs.

The only other steelbooks that store had left were sherlock holmes, batman begins, dark knight, and shawshank. I bought the last Matrix one. This is as of 11:45 AM Pacific time.

Thanks, tokerblue. My store still has a few steelcases left, but now I have to decide whether or not I want to get them or hold out for the extended editions. Hmm...this decision would be easier if they were 10$ and not 15$.

agreed if the LOTR steels were $10, id have double dipped and gotten them at $5 a piece after coup even though i own the extended edition set

one of my stores is actually well stocked on the LOTR steels too on all 3 movies

My store was loaded with copies for all 3 movies a week ago...but today, there was only one Fellowship of the Ring left and only a handful of Two Towers/Return of the King...I snagged the last Fellowship, but now that I know it's not extended edition, debating whether or not I want to keep it or just get some other movies.

Maybe I'll try the dollar store strategy and use some trade in and save coupons. I've never participated in the promo before, so I feel like this is a CAG merit badge that I have to earn .

- If there were any in CT, I would pick up the Steelbook LOTR simply to store my EE versions.

so you would put the inferior version in the Fellowship of the Ring case?

- Inferior due to green tint? Yes. I've been a very vocal critic about the picture quality on the EE. The other problem is the the TE version has it's own issues with edge enhancement and DNR.

I also think that the EE content is vastly superior to the TE cut.

So all the steelbooks only have one spot to hold a disc? Thinking about swapping out some of my movies for the steelbooks but movies but some of them are combo packs.

Yep, only one disc. Hence why Best Buy can sell them so cheap.

Am I the only one who couldn't really find more than 5 Blu-rays to use the coupon on? Then again, the only Steels I was interested in is Batman Begins (which I got last time and still haven't touched) and Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows (on release date, dumped the first film in that case as well). Not really interested in any of the other movies.

That's the combo pack. The single disc is still 9.99.

Can you price match a blu ray from somewhere else (target/amazon/etc) before applying the $5 coupon?
I've never traded in a dvd before.
