Is anyone having trouble redeeming anything? I can't redeem anything in firefox currently.

Ok so normally I'm not peeved about points disappearing from my account because I know they'll show up eventually. Today though I did my 30 searches to get to 189, signed out and my account was down to 162. Signed back in and out a few times and it dropped to 148, then 149 and now its at 150. WTF?

lol i tried making a 6th account using an old gf address and name from out of state. they shut it down with the quickness lol

i noticed i lost points too, 10-50 .. .:(

I did the 10 points for signing in with Facebook the points never appeared

I ordered my first 400 Microsoft points and now it says I need 600 for the next one on my goal. Is that real or is it a mistake?

I redeemed for about 3 $5 Tango cards on my account, they cancelled one of them and gave me the other 2. They didn't refund me back the 470 points for the cancelled order. This is much worse than losing 10-50 points. And I do think they took out about 20-30 points before I ordered. Bing rewards is nice, but they have to do good for their "customers".

Just redeemed my first 400pts. I got 30 credits/day, and I have one other account. I'm good with that.

So what is the trick to keeping multiple accounts going? Should I give them all different names/addresses, as well as spacing out how often I log into them?

I made my multiple accounts over a year ago so maybe they're alot stricter now, but between all my accounts, theres maybe 3 or 4 different addresses, so some are re-used, "first names" are all different, but some share "last names". As for logging in, I log into all of them in one go and I've had no problems. Over a year and they're all still up. Granted, last time I tried to make a new one, it got shut down almost instantly which makes me believe they are paying more attention now than they used to.

edit: So some of my accounts got canceled today after I posted this....hmmm...*looks around suspiciously*
edit2: The accounts shut down were ones that I used today to redeem points from. I've been gone from Bing for awhile so I guess they're now looking out for multiple redeems from a single source? Never had problems before. Oh well, I had a good run :p

Yea, the whole 'my account gets banned when I start talking about it' is one of the few superstitions I believe.


But yea, I posted a while ago that when I redeem accounts on Fridays they usually get banned. The multiple redemptions part is also true. I would recommend just doing 2 redeems every other day.

Is it worth the effort to start up new account or will they be shut down too?

well i got my 700 MSP today... just 19 hours after i ordered them... and guess what? not banned!

I don't know where this "order too many at the same time and it's teh ban!!1!" thing came from. I order my MSP as soon as I hit the cap, sometimes four or five codes in one day.

Order too many points on too many accounts at the same time is a thing. I've lost plenty of accounts by doing this lately. It wasn't a problem before, but it has been in the past few months.

I redeemed my points for an Amazon GC this morning and got it in 2-3 hours.
