It's also worth at least a second watch once you make it through the first time.

I actually asked while in store and the guy seemed to think that you didn't need the case. Might be worth a try.

How's the quality on that? I was going to pick it up until I read somewhere that they had to compress the quality a bit on the first one to fit them all on one disc, or at least compared to the standalone release.

You do need the case, to prove that it's not something you put together yourself.

Mine checks for case + artwork to make sure it's a retail disc.

If you are looking for more Blus and are a Stargate fan, I just saw that Best Buy has the individual seasons of Stargate Atlantis for $20 each.

I own the stand-alone release and watched it Saturday. It was actually pretty good. Looking on blu-ray.com at the picture quality rating for the stand-alone, they rate it at 3.0 out of 5.
Then if you find the 2-pk with the first 2 movies, then they rate the picture quality as 1.9 out of 5. It's because they squeezed BOTH movies on a single 25GB blu-ray.

The 4-movie pack is apparently everything on a single 50GB disc. But I can't find the breakdown as to how much data each move takes up. If you can find a place that shows that, you may be able to make a better determination.

The URL says 3 pack, so I'd assume it's the correct one.

Thanks guys. I went to BB today and they had the Oceans 11/12/13 triple feature for $9.99, even though the website is confused, and the employees are confused, lol. Picked it up for $5 after a dvd trade. I love those movies, so this deal to me is the best one I got so far.

21 Jump Street on blu should be $9.99 after a coupon and it's the only thing from this week's ad I'm even remotely interested in. Is it worth it at that price?

Loved that movie! I looked for it at my Best Buy but they were sold out. Well worth $10.

Today I bought:

End of Watch ($16.99)
The Hangover Steelbook ($5)
Green Lantern Steelbook ($5)

Harry Potter and the Deadly Hollows Part 1 3D bluray combo pack with bluray, DVD and digital copy is $14.99, so $10 with coupon. Also picked up some older Harry Potters just the bluray for $5 after coupon.

Bought it at BB on black friday and I've already watched it twice. I also watched all the deleted scenes twice. I've also watched bits and pieces when it was on premium cable. I can't wait to watch it again. I still laugh at many of the jokes on repeated viewings, which is rare for me.

There are only a handful of comedies that I actually watch more than once. The only other films from recent years I can think of are Horrible bosses, Bridesmaids, and Cabin in the Woods (if you consider that a comedy also).

I agree with the other two above me. I thought it was a good buy. Saw it in theaters at the toss of a coin. Then went day 1 and got. Definitely a fun, enjoyable movie.

I'm betting this is YMMV, not only at the store level, but probably even which employee does the transaction. I've traded at my store 6 times this sale, and only 2 of them did someone even check if there were discs in the cases. I did photocopies of the artwork for 2 movies last night, then put the legit DVDs from the blu-ray sets into a blank DVD case and added the B&W artwork. The guy didn't question it (although he was also one that didn't even open the cases to see if there were movies inside).
So if anyone has cleaned out their shelves and wants to try the DVDs inside their blu-ray sets, give it a try...work they can say is no.
