Much more like just a flat-out screw-up. A true B&S would have revealed an option to not buy but still get the consumer to the store.

I got the email saying that mine shipped, but it's not clear if it's the SE or not. I just sent their Customer Service a message asking for clarification. Either way, it's not a deal break for me b/c--SE or not--the price I paid is still better than what it's being sold for everywhere else.

Makes sense. I hope that is the case. They've already been shipped and will likely be here next week at this point so I'll just assume they are the regulars and will be pleasantly surprised if it's the SE.

That's my sentiment exactly. Hoping it shows up today. Should be some time in the next couple/few days, though the tracking info got as far as "Your order has arrived at the carrier's central hub." Nothing past that., and that was from the 20th.

Glad to hear people getting the SE version from this 2nd batch. I already plat the US version before this was released, so I'm not that upset I missed out. Was kinda sad we didn't get a SE in the first place, still praying for Xillia CE

We are getting Xillia. Namco announced that last fall. Unless you mean an SE for Xillia in that case I am with you.

I can't wait for Xillia. I got the Xillia PS3 and played a bit of the JP version and I like it but I can't follow a guide and play that is just too tedious so I am getting anxious about the US release. I assume they will announce that shortly since Ni No Kuni is finally out.

LUCKY! it was shipped the same day as yours did, but I still haven't received mine yet. I'm in NYC, which I thought would get it before PA does... Oh well! I hope mine gets here soon.

Oh yeah, I'm talking about Collector's Edition. Definitely want one for Tales of Xillia! Hope it does very well and we get Tales of Xillia 2 localized also

My order was for the special edition, and like others, it changed. I've cancelled my order since I contacted them and this was the reply:

Thanks for getting in touch about your order.
Unfortunately the game has had a content error so the game you will receive will be the standard addition.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
If there's anything else we can do please don't hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

glad to see you guys got the right thing, I canceled my order because I was afraid I wasn't going to get the SE, plus I've just spent way to much ing money between Ni No Kuni and the Etrin Oddessy reprints

I still keep getting e-mails saying they are sorry for the inconvenience and are continuing to check with the distributors.
