So our deal is dead Chetty. Care to make a better offer?

It was never declined, its still being voted on and if it is declined then I'm good without trading with you.

Scheme changes are coming in big D! Hoping to give a spark to a struggling franchise.

Been told it will not be passed. Not sure why you are still holding out hope. I see we are very bitter, that's cool bro.

That's fine with me, I didn't need that trade to go through. I'm sure my top defense will survive without him.

I hope you two are in the same division. I smell a rivalry.

Cardinals Receive:

DT, Ahtyba Rubin- 28 years old, 90 ovr with 1 year at 8.26M on his contract.
Trade Rejected

If a trade is posted in the thread, it is assumed that it has been agreed to by both parties. It doesn't matter who posts it. It certainly looks like it was agreed to in this case, so I don't see what the issue was.

Anyway, the committee felt the Browns were not getting enough for Rubin.

I just want you guys to know that I think my eyes literally glazed over as I was reading this. This might be the best example of a "here's some busywork for the committee" deal I've ever seen.

This one took some thought, but ultimately the result was that a 6th round pick wasn't enough to move forward a year in the draft, even if the 2015 pick is likely to be higher.

Looking at real-life examples of teams punting 1st rounders into the next year (Bill Belichick is the master of this) the return is always higher than this.

Have any of you drafted on the site before? I might be stuck doing it tomorrow.

If yes, how painful was it?

I could be wrong, but I didn't think you were able to do it this year. I know you could in Madden 12, but I was under the impression they'd removed it. Was anyone able to draft that way last time?

You are not wrong. uber found this out in our last draft. Yet another feature that EA removed.

Trade for Review:

Vikings Recieve:
Antonio Cromartie CB - 89 overall (age 30) Set to make $8 mil
Nate Clements CB - 84 overall (age 34) Set to make between $4-5 mil
Jared Gaither LT - 77 overall (age 28) Set to make between $4-5 mil

For

Chargers Recieve:
Kenny Phillips SS - 87 overall (age 27) Set to make between $4-5 mil
Matt Kalil LT - 80 overall (age 24) Set to make $2.1 mil
Josh Robinson CB - 71 overall (age 23) Set to make under 1 mil

Vikings reasoning: they strengthen their secondary with Cromartie and Clements and get a replacement for Kalil at left tackle with Gaither. Cromartie has 90+ speed and acceleration and both Cromartie and Clements are 80+ in Man, Zone, and Press coverage.

Chargers reasoning: In my first trade as Chargers GM I accomplish three major points I was aiming to hit on. First I get significantly younger with Kalil (24), Robinson (23), and Phillips (27). Second I was able to acquire speed in my secondary (Robinson 97 speed/ Phillips 90ish speed) and a solid LT that has the youth that could keep him around for the foreseeable future. Finally I get some major cap relief, which allows me to pick up some free agents and make this team fit my style of play.

Need positions, ages and contract info, please. Full names wouldn't hurt either. Thanks!

Its cool. As much as I wish I had encyclopedic knowledge of every player on every team in the NFL, I don't have the hard drive space in my head.

I'm sure you're getting pretty close between all of these CAG leagues.

A lot of people were saying their qb accuracies went down after the season, so I'm not sure if it was the injury that did it. Josh Freeman, who put up ridiculous stats and was healthy all season, lost points in his accuracies as well.
