Game of Thrones Season 3 (Storm of Swords) Premiers 3/31/13 on HBO

Anyone else excited for the premier? I never heard of the books which this series is based upon till Season 1 came out on HBO. After watching the first season, it was excellent, had an addicting quality that I have not experience since an earlier HBO series (The Wire). Then Season 2 was fantastic, even top the great season 1, which had alot more action and characters to get aquinted with (which the producers did a great job of doing with the wealth of new characters). The new season is set to premier in a few months, which will be based on the "Storm of Swords" entry in the book series. If the show can pull off another fantastic season and even possibly better then the prior two seasons, I will be ready to put it passed "The Wire" as my all time favorite Television show (will not be an easy task at all).

Character Im most interested in for season 3 is Jagen H'ghar (The man that is currently shown on the still frame of trailer I linked below), introduced last season as the man Who agrees to help Arya Stark when she is captured by the Lanisters, by killing any 3 names that Arya speaks . The other character I cant wait to follow up and learn more of is Jon Snow and his adventure to the unknown beyond the wall of the north.

I'm ready for it for sure. The first three books of the series are some of the best books I have read in recent years. Hopefully, like you said, they can make season three even better than one or two but that may be near impossible with as high of a bar that they have set.

I can't wait, really liked SoS, so I'm hoping this season they haven't changed too much.

Book 3,4,5 spoiler Seriously, don't read if you haven't read A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons. As far as we know, we don't see him again. Since he is a faceless man, it's possible he's any of the non-POV characters in those books, though.

This weekend is a free HBO weekend, so everybody set your DVRs and channels to HBO at 9 pm this Sunday. I still need to finish watching S2, just finished episode 5...almost done with book 3.

Also, speaking of "a man" aka Jagen H'ghar the episode I just finished had him eliminating Amory Lorch, so I assume Arya's 3rd and final choice is coming soon. Won't he disappear like he did in the book after vic #3, or is that yet another divergence from the books?
