Does this guide have any worthwhile extras to it, outside of gold skin DLC for 1 familiar? I don't buy guides anymore, not like I'd need much help with a JRPG as it is, but if I do, I can always go to GameFAQs. But I also wouldn't mind picking this up if it has something beyond just a walkthrough. I did read the description, but it doesn't seem to have any bonus features.

Guide appears to be OOS, or at least temporarily. I ordered yesterday for $23.xx prior to it going to $21.99 and my order just shipped. It's only a dollar or two but I hope they credit the difference.

Edit: nvm, they just put it back up with a instock date of 02/01

no it means you can buy it now, reserve a copy and that it will likely ship around the 1st. Typically Amazon does this when they've depleted their stock in their warehouses but already have an order en route from the manufacturer.

Is this the same as the magic book included in the Wizard edition? I thought they were different...

Not the same. The WE book is the Wizards Companion. This is the strategy guide for the game.

Thanks, I guess that book is one of the main reasons everyone wants the wizard's edition. It looks really good (will probably show up at inflated prices on Ebay later)

Darn, I missed it. I don't know if it was a fluke, but it was showing in stock for $21, and when I clicked to go to the full site (on my phone), it was out of stock. Poop!

I'm not sure I need/want this anyway since I have the WE. But then again, I hate feeling like I'm missing stuff in games...

WE compendium is not really a comprehensive strategy guide.
