It's still $7.99 too high. I gave this movie a recommended 'must-pass' when I saw it.

Decided to blind buy this.

I was actually a fan of this movie, so this was a definite buy at this price. Thanks OP, my store had plenty in stock and rang up at the $12.99 price eventhough the shelf price was $24.99. Only problem was the hella long line at customer service.

So is this dead or was it in store only?

I think dead now since Bestbuy site list it for $19.99 again. It was only a 2 day sale.

Dredd should have been part of this sale......far better than Taken 2. Taken 2 was a movie that was made just to be made and the original Taken could have stood on it's on. Taken 3 is now in development :|

Maybe he has to try to figure out where his sense of judgment when it comes to picking movie roles went, and it turns out to have some Fight Club/Tyler Durden twist.

I did the same thing- I couldn't resist the appeal of a 2-day sale of $12.99 paired with a $5 U&S coupon, even though I have a rule to only blind buy a movie if it is a $2 DVD from Walmart on Black Friday!

If you actually watch Taken 2, there's some really heavy foreshadowing towards the end that gives you an idea of how the the third movie will go. I saw it from a mile away.

The movie was far from perfect, I just wish it was more like the first one than what this was, I would think about watching another one.

Agreed. It wasn't without its flaws, but I don't think it deserved all the criticism it got.
