That surprises you? Did you not see the listings where the Halo 4 FOTUS DLC went for over $160?

I didn't even bid, I had no idea these prices were like this for a digital object. People are stupid. I have no desire to add an extra guy to a game with hundreds of guys already in it. I don't even have the game yet.

Yes it surprises me. It's not a physical object. Why would people buy this for these prices? I simply don't understand.

Sold out for a couple minutes, but went back in stock and I grabbed one. Think fast if you're on the fence.

I'll second - if it comes back in stock and you're on the fence, don't hesitate. Buy it! I waited yesterday because of the "get a free guide if they cancelled your order" thing. Now i really regret it because then I got this - so I'd say its not a sure thing AT ALL:

"Thank you for contacting the Namco Bandai US Online Store.

We still do not have any information if there will be additional copies
that will be produced for the product.

We are aware of a statement made from Namco Bandai regarding the 400
page hard bound copy of the Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
strategy guide which includes an exclusive code to unlock a Gold Hurly
Familiar in the game in addition to the original $20 clubNamco voucher,
we are still awaiting for an update from our processing team. When
details of this offer are finalized, someone will be in touch with more
information. We do not have any additional information at this time.

We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I have no confidence they'll actually get a guide to everyone who should get one. "We are aware of a statement..." Uh, yeah.

I don't think that's happening. It's back ordered on GameStop at $40. Namco underestimated demand for Ni No Kuni by a long shot.

I hope so... I didnt get a WE, but if I get a guide out of it, all's not lost! I still ordered two from Amazon to be safe.

I don't understand either, but at least those people are willing to pay for it... I heard that people commit suicides over digital friends and that Japanese gamer marrying the DS with official ceremony... If game companies milking gamers with DLCs, guess what some of the people doing with those "exclusive" DLCs? Yep, milking more money, lol.

Pokemon elements in a Dragon Warrior/Quest game. Love the game and the music is great too.

Ordered on the 26th using the $5 promotional credit from Ford Fusion promo and it said it would ship on the 29th. When I came back from class today, a package was at my door and it was the guide.
