That is correct on 00 S2:P2, both the regular and SE are labelled the same, but will ship correctly based on UPC (at least that was my experience). They actually have the non-special edition listed at a higher price. Which makes no sense because you could just toss the manga and slipcover if you really didn't want it.

Yeah, sorry to confuse. I meant the actual warehouse price was lower for the SE than the regular, not msrp.

Anyways, thanks to the OP. some of the prices that jumped up are back down a bit, though not to the $2 level, and these special editions are just cut in price for the first time. Jumped on Towards the Terra.

Yep. The discs are the exact same. And it's not even one of the side-story manga. It is the manga retelling of the anime.

This is true. However the slipcover for S2:Part 1 SE is different than the case art (this is the only part where this is true). And S1:Part 1 SE comes with 2 manga, 00 #1 and 00f #1.

I am happy with my SE, I think they make a nice package for the price I paid for them. I don't plan to do anything more than flip through the manga once and read whatever bonus content they may have.

All of the cheap Lucky Star stuff is gone, but I'll bite on Coming to Terra. It seems more interesting than most anime.

My presents purchased from the previous thread went over quite well, especially Lucky Star LE 1. Keep those finds coming, it's the only way I see what's available. (there's no way I'm searching through everything myself)

Part 1&2 (vol 1-4) are $3.18 each, but is there anywhere to actually see/buy Part 3 (vol5&6) cheap ($10ish)? I'm not paying $40+ for the Anime Legends version when I'm getting 2/3 of it for $6.

Geez, I had to jump on my order quick because all the Lucky Star was being bought. I did manage to get Lucky Star Vol 1 LE, Vol 2(Single) Vol 3 LE, Vol 5 LE. All I lack is Vol 4 and 6(I may be able to get 6 locally) Also picked up Toward The Terra. I told myself I would NEVER buy singles again due to shelf space but at these prices I couldn't resist.

Wait till you can't get 2/3 of the series for 6$ and 40$ seems like a bargain... problem solved...

More like returns and trade-ins, with some damaged shipments.

As for this (Bandai) anime specifically, it is new+sealed. Bandai North America shut down last year (Aug/Sept/Nov?) so the Amazon warehouse (ran by Noram, I think?) probably bulk bought a ton, on the cheap, to sell.

Most of these titles, and more, were available since Dec and if you added them to cart and changed quantities to 999, it worked.

Lol at Zeta Gundam's Chapter 5. Chapter 1-4 are just $3.14. Haha

Their inventory seems to be screwed up or people are canceling. Because Gundam 00 S2 Part 3 SE was sold out this morning, yet I was able to order a copy an hour ago for $3.18.

Of course the main one I wanted, Gurren Lagann Part 2(2 disc, sub-only set), is sold out no matter what. So I had to settle on Warehouse Deals' used copy they had listed for $2.54.

Just looked at what's left and besides Vol. 8, all the Hayate the Combat Butler volumes are $3.18/$3.19 each.

Thanks! Bought vol 1-7 for $22.27 total. That's less than the normal cost of just one of these volumes.

I've already watched this anime (Animax Dub) and really enjoyed it. The manga is better, but this is a good adaptation.
