One thing funny about this article is if it's true both the Sony and Microsoft systems are going to be running an AMD 8 core cpu and some sort of AMD GPU. Why don't they just make one console if they are going to be the same hardware?

Let's hope that someone does something different than the other.

Well the sooner they launch the sooner the first price drop will happen. So from my point of view the sooner they launch the better.

Second time's the charm:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...d.php?t=334068

Blasterman posted an article saying the Steam Box was CONFIRMED for 2013. Some people pointed out that there was no actual confirmation in the article and when the xi3 was announced earlier this month, Blasterman started tearing into the "naysayers" (which looks to have been deleted) in the very same manner as you see in this thread. Ignoring the fact that the xi3 was NOT the Steam Box, Blasterman seems to miss the point that people are arguing against his/her misleading words.

I'm sorry I just has to add a comment...you're a f**king idiot.

Launching means in the store, being sold.

Announcing means officially acknowledging it's existence, maybe showing it off, and wheels are in motion for a final design that leads to a launch

June 2011 (Announcement) is a lot different than November 2012 (Launch) for the Wii U...get it?

You said LAUNCH everyone laughed at the ridiculousness of that. It was pointed out that a slim model launched in a week...which is apples and oranges (console redesigns are generally the same price and and improved, directly effecting left over stock. Compared to a new console that plays different games, uses different accessories and is at least twice the price) THEN you change it to ANNOUNCED, which I think most people believed that both new consoles would be ANNOUNCED sometime before E3. This is NOT really a surprise.

You claimed LAUNCH and then YOU WERE WRONG. Then you changed to ANNOUNCED, which isn't a big deal...we all agreed. You were wrong and now demand everyone to apologize?

F**K YOU, you should be banned from here until you can prove you have some sort of reading comprehension skills. Damn idiot. /rant

I'm calm now, sorry his stubbornness brought that out.

Clearly I meant announce. I even said so later if you actually read the thread you moron.

That's fine. Announce not launch. Semantics as far as I'm concerned as most people won't want to buy the Xbox 360 or PS3 once the announcements happen. IMO these sales for the 360 and PS3 more or less give credence to these rumors.

Its not Semantics since Announce and Launch have two totally different meanings.

Its good that you admit you were wrong, but don't come in here saying "boom proven right. Awaiting apology." When you know that what you said was completely wrong.

What "sales"? There is one sale, that doesn't mean anything, Best Buy probably just has too many and wants to get rid of some so that their sheets look better. At this point, you should just stop posting as people are starting to dislike you more and more. Don't mean to be harsh but seriously just stop.
