Was just browsing Amazon and found that both Steins Gate Part 2 and Level E are $30.99, which is over half off. Black Lagoon is $26.49. Not sure what other titles are on sale.

So is King of Thorn and I'm intrigued since it's supposed to be a sci-fi take on Sleeping Beauty. Can anyone chime in on this anime because I'm this close to a blind buy.

Great deal on Black Lagoon. I bought it for 32.99 during the december sale at rightstuf and I haven't even watched it yet.

I wonder if it's a match of Righstuf, who's doing a Funimation sale.

Lost Girl Season 1 is $25 and Season 2 is $31 also. The first 3 seasons of DBZ Kai are $28 (Blu-ray only, the DVD versions aren't discounted further for some reason).

Had to get level E at that price, Hilarious show.

After you watch it, would you mind sharing your perspective? I am intrigued as well but wonder what it would compare to.

Is fafner any good at 29.99 for blu?

Not picking up Black Lagoon at that price would be a travesty.

Watching watched 800 series (half of them to completion), I can easily say that Black Lagoon is one of the best.

Edit: It's a hyperviolent show about mercenaries and their jobs. It's arc-based and well paced. At worst it's entertaining. At best, it's really entertaining.

Season 2 is much better and the main part people remember when they think of the show. Those creepy twins...

Season 2 has the most memorable parts, yeah.

Can anyone compare the quality of the Black Lagoon blu-rays vs the dvds, I have the 2 geneon steelbooks and hate having the same show on dvd and blu-ray.

It is definitely a noticeable upgrade, not to mention you'll be getting DVDs in this set also, so value wise you really can't go wrong. :o
