Went to my BB but Prototype2 was still at $40 there. Hoping for the drop to register soon!

Really? That's cool. I forgot my $10 certificate the other day. Unfortunately, the doofus at the counter didn't ask me if I wanted to use it.

For the first time yesterday I was asked if I wanted to use my rewards at the register.

I do. It's not a great mag and the reviews are sketchy, but it's good for the crapper. Plus it's pointed out some download games that weren't on my radar.

Went to bb today and i was able to get prototype 2 for the ps3 for at the 29.99 price point. The guy that was their is way cool and he said that 29.99 is the new MSRP for both 360 and ps3. Had some problems they had to do a override because at 29.99 it was only taking off 15$ but was able to pick up for 5$ after coupon. I picked it up at the Arrowhead mall in Glendale, az if anyone wants to know where.

Prototype 2 was marked at $30 at my BB, but sadly I didn't have my coupon with me so I didn't try to get it.

I read one issue and it was terrible.

I don't know if I'll be renewing. The last several months have been disappointing, and it seems like Best Buy isn't selling may good games for $10 anymore.

You beat me to it. I just renewed a week ago ago and got the email from @Gamer. I love how it said I "selected" to receive the digital version of the magazine when I did so. I did not and emailed them to tell them so. Then I get the dreaded reply email saying there will be no more paper magazines effective March. Why did you tell me I "selected" digital on the renewal confirmation email? Total BS. I should have been told all this when I renewed at the register-the clerk said the program was all the same-no changes

Ya Im in the same boat as you. Its a shitty shitty magazine. Every review and article seems to be generic corporate shilling trying to sell crap and not real reviews. I also only got it for the coupons but theyve been damn cruddy the past few months. Really not sure if its worth renewing. Right now the only benefit is the bonus RZ points i think you get

ah well i'll probably grab Prototype 2 in anticipation of the price drop just in case. If it doesn't i'll return it

Yeah when I went in for another round of dvd trade ins on Friday, the cashier told me about this option. I didn't actually try it though so can't comment on the process.

Got Prototype 2 at the $4.99, but the Racine, WI store is dead for awhile. Rang up at $39.99 despite the $29.99 shelf tags. The manager pulled all the games and the shelf tags claiming it was a "huge error." Managed to get Kirby Dream Collection for $20 as well...

it drives me crazy when the best buy employees/ managers freak out about you getting a game for $5-10 after coupon like its some Insane deal.

Prototype is $40 at BB now. On their web page too. I know because I had to pay $15 rather than $5

So you're saying it's only $40 now because you know?

The reviews indeed are sketchy. Among other examples, they reviewed Disgaea 3 for the Vita at least a month before it came out. By playing D3 for the PS3 of course.

I'm saying I know because I only learned about the increase when I was at the register (but still wanted the game anyway). Didn't even bother to look at the tag when I grabbed the game.

I went to Best Buy. Price on the tag was still $39.99. I'm hoping it'll drop in a few days.
