I have... Although I have had two games simmed now. This past period I hadn't heard back from Phoenix, and didn't get a chance to play the CPU before it was advanced yesterday (not that it mattered... still won and no injuries lol).

I have Boston, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Philly for user games and already played the 4-5 CPU games last night for this period.

I've had one game end up being simmed each period, but mostly had CPU games so far (as we all have I guess). Haven't checked the new slate of games yet but I look forward to another battle with Montreal!

Good games with both MTL and BOS last night. Both were close games right from the start (both losses for me). A couple of bad bounces went against me but it was nice to be back in competitive games again.

Anyway we can get a one day extension on the deadline this tick? I have worked the past 6 days in a row and haven't even had a chance to load up the game yet this week.

Sorry man, I advanced us last night before I read this. Anyways, we have advanced to the next set of games and the next advancement will take place Tuesday night so everyone get your games in!

Not that it's a big deal, but I noticed I had another loss since the last time I played. The reason this is strange is because I had finished all my games from the last period and this was the first time I had played since advancing. Well my loss was apparently to the Rangers who aren't being controlled by anyone right now. Anyone had anything similar happen?

I just hate the fact that I have lost 4 games in regulation and another 4 in OT and shootouts and out of those eight, six have been simmed.

Yes... 11/30 (in game date) against Anaheim who is user controlled. I'm assuming that at some point a mistake was made when advancing since the last period of games ended 11/26 or 11/27 and the current period is 12/1 to 12/14.

Yea sorry guys, my bad. When I advanced us it only advanced us a day because of some free agent signing deadline. So instead of waiting for everyone to play their 0-1 games for that period I just advanced us again so that we could have another full slate of games. Didn't really even think about it until after I had already done it. So just to be clear, most people had 1 game simmed during that period, it wasn't that somebody played against your CPU.

I feel your pain man, I was in your situation last season. But really all that matters is getting into the playoffs. Once those start, probably none of your games are gonna get simmed. But it does suck for your players stats and whatnot.

I'm slacking a bit this period. I think I have games against Boston, Philly, and Washington left. I can be on tonight any time after 8:30 pm EST to play if any of you see this. If you can't be on then feel free to play my CPU. If it gets to be after midnight and the games are still out there I may go ahead and knock them out though if that's cool.

Just a quick heads up I didn't have time to advance us tonight so I will do it tomorrow around 6 Pm eastern

Hey everyone, not much action in this thread lately, I'm assuming because the NHL season is in full swing and most teams are playing every other night so it gets hard to squeeze in video game hockey around that. Anyways, I just advanced the league now so play your games (if you have time that is) because I will be advancing us again on Tuesday Feb. 26th.

On a side note, I apologize to anyone who has had to play Buffalo in the past few weeks. I've been pretty busy between starting a new job and watching the Sabres suck 3-4 nights per week. And I haven't really had time to send out messages to my opponents but I'm gonna try to set up games again for this set.

I have no idea how many of you are trying to play all your games at this point, but I think I'm done for the most part. I have way too many games that I'm wanting to play and to be honest, once I get my hands on The Show tomorrow everything is going to be obsolete for a while. I do like playing the CPU when I can though, so unless someone wants to be the Pens I would just assume to keep control with the understanding that anyone who has me on the schedule can just play the CPU. By the time the playoffs roll around I might be able to put The Show down long enough to see how I fare... lol

I still try and play all my CPU games and for the most part try to contact what little user controlled teams I have to play. I think so far this season I have only played two other users one was Montreal who is never hard to get a hold of and the other was Boston which is controlled by my son. Other than that the ones i have tried to contact I have never heard a reply back from.

Kudos to you guys who are trying to keep this going. I was looking on the EA forums earlier and I saw people talking about the menus being slow again. Have you guys noticed that? I can't imagine them being what they were when the game came out. My God, that was awful.

I have been wondering how this league has been going. Glad to see some are still in it.

I think I have played just about everyone I could with the exception of Winnipeg who I feel like isn't really in it at all any more. The only other was Philly, where he has been spotty on whether or not he responded. Everyone else has been good.

It still is slow on the initial start up into GM Connected, but other than that it isn't too bad. Occasional slight hick up from stat category to stat category at the initial screen, but that's all I have noticed. I know they were going to wipe all leagues that were made before 12/1 and hadn't been used recently, so I don't know if that will hopefully help their servers a little.

Damn, that's rough. I guess they just didn't anticipate how much bandwidth something like this would take up? You'd think they'd do some research or talk to the Madden team or something. I remember advancing things was the absolute worst. It would take a good 30-45 minutes to get through all the steps to move on to the next round. That's just crazy.

Sorry, I had to put together a new piece of exercise equipment tonight that was a pain in the ass and just saw this. I went on but you had been off for about an hour. I do enjoy playing you because I like to believe that one day I may actually win.
