1. better screen brightness/look etc
2. built in 16gb memory
3. dualshock 3 bluetooth support (the only psp that has this)
4. TV output (combine with the dualshock 3 and you can essentially play psone games as they were back in the day...but with MUCH BETTER resolution. seriously.) Not to mention you can also play psp games on your tv.

...I bought mine new about a year and a half ago for $100 new. Honestly I love it.

Better screen? I like it for the form factor and that I can get away playing with it with no one really knowing it is a PSP. I have the 3000 myself and love that it can play UMD's but I like the PSP Go for its portability. I like it so much, I kinda of want to get the white one as well. Only down side are the m2 memory cards are so expensive compared to the phats and slims.

Anyone know if there is an easy way to transfer saves (PSP or PS One) between the Go and the Vita?

I'm thinking about buying one of these to use as a Final Fantasy machine. With this great PSN sale featuring all those Final Fantasy games half off it might be worth it. I already have a Vita but I only have a 8GB memory card with it and that fills up too fast (especially with all the PS+ games I have). I guess this is the definition of a first world problem?

This was my thought as well, but I have already have some save games I would like to transfer over and vise versa if it's possible...

It's extremely portable, has DS3 support if your fingers start to hurt, and you can spend a little extra money and turn it into a console.

Oh, and flashing CFW is a breeze, so your existing PSP game collection won't go to waste.

I have a PSP with a LOT of game discs. SO I take it all those games are useless with this version PSP?

The DS3 and component cable thing actually sounds pretty cool to me the more I think I about it. Pretty sure I'm going to go searching for one now.

I already have CFW on my PSP-1000 so I get better performance and I already have all of my UMD's backed up. So transitioning them over once I get a Go loaded with CFW should be pretty slick.

Figured out the sound issue when I tested my psp with my sisters charging cable. The cable I received from gamestop was an unofficial cable and faulty. Moral of the story: check all used items before you buy from gamestop! Hope it helps someone.

You can manually copy to the save from the PSPGo to your PC. Then use Content Manager to transfer to Vita.

or

Use the PS3 to facilitate the transfer if you have one.

I was able to find a used cradle at Gamestop today for $3. Not sure if it helps in any way since there's no listing online for it, but the SKU on the receipt is 900007 900/000 and the full number on the price tag is 900007 051612.

What does the description say on the price tag?

So I ended up picking up one this evening. A pearl white one. Came with original cable and looks like brand new. No memory card and it looks as if they fully restored it to factory settings.

The associates kind of annoyed me. Called checking around and the guy on the phone goes "Why on earth would you want that? Just get a normal psp, it plays discs." He kept pushing that topic the whole time he was looking while having me on the phone. Go to the store and I get the same attitude, until I say I'm putting a CFW on it and suddenly it all makes sense and I'm their best buddy. =/

In a day or two I'll run out to Kmart or TRU to see if they have anything on clearance. I recall the last time I was at Kmart they had a bunch of cases for super cheap. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a component cable too.

Thanks for the heads up on the deal. I'm looking forward to playing with this thing.

Nope. Not if you have a PSP that is modded so you can rip the ISO images off the disc and then mod the GO and put said images on there.

Problem solved.

OR. You can find downloads for the games online of ones YOU OWN.

I was going to sell my PSP 1000 to cover the costs of this, but it's in real rough shape, and I just discovered ad-hoc, so I think I'm going to keep it around if I'm ever traveling with a friend. Pretty sweet.
