I think I got silver status for my RZ but I didn't spend 2500 last year. Anybody have this happen to them?

Looks like that's in-store only because I was just able to use a $5 RZ cert on my Metal Gear Rising pre-order which I did online with in-store pickup.

I like it, though I'm only on Chapter 6 (Hard) so far ( it's taking a lot longer to reach the ice planet than I expected ). While it's definitely more about tension than scares, I still love how it feels quicker to shoot things, especially with the dodge roll available.

I put 5 down on DS3 and used a 40 dollar RZ cert when I picked it up no issue.

It is likely not an error. I was upgraded to Silver last year even though I didn't even spend $1000 at Best Buy throughout year. They sent me an email about 1-month after they gave me silver letting me know that they upgraded me because I was a valued customer. They gave me silver again this year even though I spent less this year. It is likely that they are hurting for business so they are trying to keep people purchasing from them in any way they can. Chapter 4 myself. I don't hate the bench as much as I did at first, but its takes WAY too many shots to kill the easiest of enemies, it's ridiculous. After re-playing DS 2 right before this one, the feel of the game doesn't feel right. Guess im too picky, or I like the status quo .

Double plasma cutter is the way to go.

I must be the only person really looking forward to the new Army of Two game coming out in March...I would've definitely used this promo for that game.

That's not the dumb part at all the problem would be that RZ certs expire probably. So if you pre-ordered a game for $5 in January using a cert that expires in March for a game that releases in June when the "return" the pre-order you may lose the $5. It's a system flaw but as we all know with BB system's flawed.

You can get awarded silver status by spending $1500 in back to back yrs. Also, your trade ins count towards silver too so if you spent $1000 & traded in $500 you may still get it.

I'd love it for this promo since it would be on sale in 3 weeks but the 2nd one under performed badly so I guess the suits didn't think it warranted to be in the promo.

Picked up my copy of DS3 today and was able to use the $45 in certs that I got from the fall pre-orders. Also I was able to match the offer for the free guide from the Toys r us ad with no problems. The associate even asked if he could have the ad to do the same. Only weird thing was that he could only do a single transaction per item due to the new system instead of doing it all in one go like before.
