Just a head's up to all of you. The prices have flipped on most of these, but some of the items are cheaper than advertised. Seasons, Monte Vista & 70s, 80s and 90s Stuff are cheaper than they're supposed to be.

EDIT: Supernatural is a little cheaper too.

Picked up Seasons and Generations. I don't know why. I have only ever played 3 hours of the base game and now I have those two expansions + Supernatural lol. Sales are too irresistible! Somehow I think I will end up with World Adventures too.

If you buy one of the Sims expansions on Amazon, do they give you a key to register it on Origin? I have The Sims 3 already, but I didn't buy it from Amazon.

Yes, you can get your expansions on Origin. However, it works a little bit differently than usual. Instead of redeeming your key directly through Origin, you have to create an account over on http://www.thesims3.com/ and register the game/expansion over there. Then you link that account to your Origin account and the sims 3 stuff will show up in Origin.

It's been so long since I did it that I can't remember how to link the sims3.com account with your Origin account. I think if you use the same email address as you used to create your Origin account when you are creating your Sims3.com account, it might automatically link the two for you. Hopefully somebody else out there will correct me on that if I've got that wrong.

If you already have an Origin account, you should be able to use that to log into the Sims3.com without any issue. The linking should only be necessary if you created a sims3.com account before an Origin account (which one might have done if one picked up The Sims 3 when it originally launched, since the game came out about 2 years before the Origin client).

Whats the difference between The Sims 3 Refresh compared to the previous base version via Origin?

You shoulda asked for a price match for Wargame while it was on Steam sale. Amazon already had massive paradox collections sold during january just past....

I bought the Sims 3 too early, so I'm not going to waste money on expansions, but it might be a good time to get Medieval since I don't see it going any lower.

Picked up Ambitions, Generations, and Pets. Time to get my Sims on again. I keep going back to this game and binging on it every so often.
