Hi everyone thought I would let you know Playstation 4 went up for a pre-order sort of through Amazon.com I know it says $1,000, but obviously that would be updated to the retail price when announced. For now seems like a great way to get a system because we all know this will come out during the holidays and sell out.

Hmm.. decisions decisions. Funny enough I was super excited when the PS3 was announced, now 7 years later I can't really justify a new console. I have a bigass backlog on my PS3 and figure by the time I beat all of them the PS4 might already be cheaper.

and it's legit -- there are reviews wondering if it's a fake listing, but there is an actual amazon promo page that links to that listing.

price is an obvious place holder, but i figured i'd get in line and can always cancel if need be (though i doubt i will)

do they put any kind of charge on your card?

Placed an order for 4. Can't wait to see what the system looks like. I'm guessing this will be $499.99 USD. They know 600-700 is too much from the PS3. Also there is no charge or hold on your card, my account is PRIME and doesn't have any charge on it. Plus the price WILL drop.

And it's no longer available lol. I was hoping to push it to the Movers and Shakers list.

it's available for pre-order, verses available for notification when pre-orders are possible. if that makes any sense.

though... it's no longer available for preorder for some reason.

Well I don't think it sold out... They probably just pulled it for one reason or another and it'll be back at some point.

I'm thinking this as well, I plan on pre-ordering one from amazon and one from gamestop when it goes live.
