Is there a limitation on PM'ing a mod?

I was having an issue and I tried to PM a mod today about a issue/question but my PM didnt show up in my list of sent PM's. Is there a limitation being a new user to sending a PM to a mod?

Hey resnic,

First off welcome to CAG, and we hope that you find a good pile of deals here from our (for the most part) outstanding members.

Secondly, about the message not showing up in "Sent Items", there's an easy explanation. When you send a message here on CAG, unlike other forums, the message IS NOT saved in "Sent Items" by default.

There is an area within the page that you send PM's out with right under the "Submit Message" and "Preview Message" buttons called "Message Options"

Within Message Options there is a check box next to the phrase "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder". In order to have ANY message save in your Sent Items folder, this box must be selected before sending the message, or the message will just be delivered and not recorded for your record.

Hope that this answer helps ya out!

Question related to the OPs, do we have to check this every time or is there an option to make this default?

If you've got Unused Club Nintendo Codes PM me and I'll buy them or maybe we can work out a trade.

There's a checkbox to make it default.

Hmmm - I did not know that. Mine have always been saved in the Sent folder since day 1 (8+ years ago). But to get back to the OP's question: there is no limitation on sending PMs to mods. Just use common sense/judgement please .
