Lol, to clarify, The state of Rhode Island currently owns the direct publishing rights for Kingdoms of Amalur, this is not conjecture, it is fact. We're in open conversation with the attorney who is managing the rights for this IP, and he has hired a former BHG employee to help with the process.

EA absolutely does not control the rights to the steam version of Amalur, just like they don't control the rights to the Steam version of The Secret World, Funcom does.

Correct, customers could qualify for the $5 credit was prior to 2/22. If you ordered prior to 2/22 (when we removed all advertisement for the $5 credit) you'll get the $5 credit, if you ordered after the $5 coupon is not applicable.

Also, we discovered an issue with our list price for Wallace & Gromit, the bundle will be $5 shortly.

It seems that Square Enix is having some trouble with Tomb Raider keys or something cuz I got a friend who got the game from AMD promo and they sent him the email with a "blank" serial key

Same here. I had the first one free on Telltale, but $5 for the rest is an instabuy for me. Now I just need $5 Monkey Island and my Telltale collection will be complete.

Sorry I should have clarified, we pulled the promo messaging at a set point on 2/22, at this point relatively few people had placed orders on 2/22. If you placed an order before the messaging was pulled you'll get a credit (no worries ) I was using 2/22 as a ref point because of the low volume of orders before the messaging was pulled.

So I take it Wallace and Gromit is not Steam? Darn. I would have gotten it if it was just like I would have gotten Tales of Monkey Island.

Oh well, I will keep an eye out for them on one of the big Steam sales.

Oh and standard disclaimer to keep the natives happy that if other people are happy with the non-steam version that's fine and I am in no way knocking them, it's just not my personal preference is all.
