I just replaced my old backwards compatible PS3 with a new slim.

My old PS3 sounded like a jet taking off. It was twice as loud as my PC which has a 1000 watt power supply, four fans, and two geforce cards.

The new PS3 is nearly silent. it's awesome. I can not watch a blu-ray wiothout having to turn the sound up to 55/60.

I always hear that the PS3 is loud but I never actually experienced it. Unless my apartment is a furnace the thing is whisper quiet (though I think the new 360 may actually be quieter).

PS3 is a bit loud i think.

I have a superslim PS3 and when it is seeking on a game disc it can be very clicky loud. Not really a problem since I put it in the TV stand (instead of on top), but still, that clicking is far from whisper quiet. However when not seeking on a disc, yes it is very quiet.

All the cool kids have 4 XBoxes...One in the Office, one in the living room, one in the Formal Living room, and the 4th off to college with thier kid.

I don't actually know what I'm going to do with the old one. It doesn't have wireless so I either need to wire it into my switch (which means it'll go in the closet with my office TV) or I need to ghetto rig up my spare router into a client again to get wireless signal in the bedroom.

My old PS3 was a gamestiop refurbished and i think they did something to it to make it louder.

But the original ps3s were loud. Cheapy complains about it occasionally on the podcast. I think he had a release 60 gig.

I got rid of my Slim when Gamestop had a sale a few weeks ago. Now I am back to my arcade that I bought when COD brought the ban hammer.

Well, I've finally broken down and put up some games on ebay I've been dragging my feet on for awhile.

Ni No Kuni is one of them. I just can't get behind the idea of familiars, and that dual analog movement puzzle is annoying.

I like SimCity. Even if the server forget to save my city, it doesn't matter since I give up and start a new one every 2 hours.

I haven't had many problems with SimCity. Once I wasn't able to connect to a server. That was it.

Morning. Didnt have too much time to game over the weekend. Although with the time change it seems like I've been staying up an hour later than I usually do.

Hell of a time at work when you have to cover 2-3 different areas because people call in sick and they won't replace them.
And finally, one day off.
Plan to visit some sort of local burger joint tonight. Really need a fresh, hot burger and fries.

That time change is completely fucking me up. Can not wake up anymore and was late to work. Fuck this shit, I ain't a farmer I don't need this extra hour of sunlight bullshit.

Indiana was weird when I was a kid. We didn't have to move our clocks back or forward. Time changes only meant that TV shows in certain markets around us came on an hour earlier/later. They finally instituted DST in 2006, I think.

Uploading 10,000 songs to Google Play Music is really slow. Sometimes it does like 100 songs in an hour, sometimes it does 20 in a half hour.
And it seems to be just jumping all over my library too. I probably have 5+ albums by Archie Shepp but it uploaded one. And then it did a couple "S" artists. (Stanley Turrentine, Tim Sparks, etc)
