Anyone else collect non sports cards or art?

Sketch cards, autographs etc?

Just looking to see if anyone else on here does.

If so...what sets do you collect etc?

My main focus is sketch cards of Hiro from Heroes series 1 and 2 and from time to time Ill have an artist draw one up.

2nd main focus is Sons of Anarchy. People who have autographs in card sets that have been in the tv show etc.

3rd is collecting stuff of ODB from TNA wrestling.

Last but not least is sometimes Ill get art drawn up and signed by celebs.

Just a sample-

Had artist Rita Moore draw this Year One Catwoman voiced by Eliza Dushku and had Eliza sign it last year-

Had artist Patrick Canter draw Michael Dorn as the president of the US from Heroes and had him sign it last year-

Had artist Rich Hennemann draw this Tim Sale tribute and had Hayden sign it two in 2011

Cool stuff. I collect some non sport cards but not on the level that you do. I'll buy a box or two of stuff I like and put the set with whatever inserts I get in a binder, but I don't look for specific inserts to buy. I like to get autos more than sketches, but sketches are great too. My cousin actually does a lot of sketch cards for many sets (his name is Ted Dastick Jr. http://tdastick.deviantart.com/) and he sets up a table at a lot of shows in the Philadelphia area. If there's a show he doesn't have a table at, we usually go anyway.

I've bought a few boxes of Heroes cards from almost every season and that last archives set they put out. Stuff I also buy is any James Bond stuff, Game of Thrones, Dexter, True Blood and Star Wars to name a few (I'm horrible about cards making it from the box to a binder, they're sitting all around my room).

I've got at least 4 or 5 complete sets of Marvel and X-Men cards at my mother's place, and recently completed (I think) the first series of the new Power Rangers Action Card Game.

I collect Pokemon cards. Have a couple Full Art cards (OG Zekrom, Reshiram, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus) and a few Legend cards. One of my favorites is the oldie but goodie Ancient Mew. I also prefer almost card drawn by Kouki Saitou.

Had a bunch of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards way back when, but stopped collecting them around Legacy of Darkness.

I used to collect the FFXIII Triple Triad Cards as well as MTV animation trading cards. The MTV cards were Beavis and Butthead, Aeon Flux, The Brothers Grunt, The Head, and The Maxx. That's about it as far as non sports cards that I have ever collected. Of course that was ages ago. I did want to pick up the Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories cards, but that kind of fell off my radar when I couldn't find them in game stores.

I used to collect comic cards a lot, still have some of them somewhere I think. I remember loving the Marvel Masterpiece series, such great art on those cards.

I swear that Wolverine's claws change depending on who's drawing him. Sometimes they're flat blades, sometimes they're more like long pointed spikes with no edge, sometimes curved, sometimes more straight, always different. Then there were the bone claws, ugh.

I asked him, he said he knows you. Do you have something of his scanned that you can post? He shows me a majority of stuff he does but not everything.

This is a serious question: Why would you ever want/need so many autographs of a single B-list celeb?

I dig some of those Domino pictures, but I'm with our Amish friend above -- that's a lot of autographs from one person...

He wasnt doing sketch cards at the time of Heroes being released so I never ran across anything of his to add to my collection.

Its a collectors thing I guess...One is a "base set" autograph, another is numbered, then there is the one with the "Stiflers Mom" variant signature.

When collecting Hiro cards were slow, Id fill that time up with others and she was one of those.

I was in the middle of watching Angel and saw Juliet Landau and James Marsters were going to be at a Austin con so I had Rich Hennemann draw this up and got it signed by both-

This is a prop card of the missing poster used in the background when Hiro was "missing"

This is the unfinished 9th wonders comic used in the tv show that Hiro was walking around with-

I also have the poker chips that were used when Hiro went to vegas and was using his powers to gamble. Need to get a pic of those.

For the misc section of Heroes related autographs, Ive got a print of this-

Signed by James Lee aka Ando and Santiago Cabrera aka Isaac. Hope to catch Masi Oka at a con sometime to get quite a bit signed by him.
