Ugh. Unfortunately this stuff is becoming pretty par for the course in JRPGs. I hate it, tbh. I ing hate it.

Well, it's not actually a J-RPG -- it's more of a music sim game, I believe (you know, like playing through a girl's career as an idol, and training her vocals/messing with her wardrobe, etc.).

But yes, the J-RPG scene is much worse than the two previous gens.

Well my point is I would never play a game like that, as I have no interest in it. Yet, that type of thing isn't unknown to me because it's being injected into a genre that I do enjoy.

Couldn't imagine playing an entire game based around it. I aggravates me to no end when it just pops up in my JRPGs. I loved Agarest War 1, enjoyed Zero, but my god, 2 was a train wreck. If the crappy battle system didn't ruin the game... the massage mini-games and J-pop dancing cinematics finished the job. I dig fan-service, as long as it's purely aesthetic. I like my hot girls in games. I can't, however, find any enjoyment in rubbing oil on a static image of a half-naked girl or watching 2-minute cut-scenes of girls dancing to annoying J-pop stuck in the middle of my medieval, fantasy RPG.

since we have been kinda on the topic, which dragon quest would be the best one to start for the japanses language practicer? my nihongo is weakening greatly and i honestly can't remember much kanji. preferablly a gba, ps1 or nds version..as they work on my phone >.>

My local comic book store has a copy of Saint Seiya Battle Sancutary Special Edition (something like, Myth Cloth Edition) for $100. Is that a good deal? The regular edition is only $23 from Zavvi.

To anyone else who got Neptunia V's LE. Have you been charged yet?

Slightly worried that my status hasnt changed after seeing others been charged, plus the LE is back in stock.

I've been charged. I paid through paypal.

Maybe they are doing Paypal first then, I paid with a card

i cancelled my HDN V LE a while ago, so maybe a few others did the same (as to why it's back in stock)

I have not been charged, paid with CC. Not worried though, cause the last thing they sent me was an email saying it was delayed (a second one).

I haven't been charged either, and I also paid with CC.

My credit card was billed for my Standard Pre-order a little big ago, but I obviously quickly ordered the LE when dgwillia pointed out it was back in stock. Thanks so much.

You can't really pre-order with paypal the same way you do with a credit card. With paypal you either pay or you don't. You pay as soon as you pre-order, when using paypal, regardless of how far out the ship date is.

I was charged on my credit card at about 7:30 p.m. PST tonite for the LE.

Just got charged here as well
