Search Bar

This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.

After searching for a game title, click the icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.

After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.

Tips

Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360

You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

I like this one a lot. Good job.

Second part of post removed because of stupidity pointed out by Banky in the next post down. Sorry about that one...

But that's what I'm talking about, if I refer to DOA the game, it comes up as "dead on arrival" and if you have PC mean Player's Choice, every time someone asks about PC games it'll say "Player's Choice"

Those words should just be left out of the acrobot. I talk about PCs a lot and It will be annoying for it to show up as something I am not meaning everytime.

PC should be removed since it has a double meaning.

Would it be possible to set it up so that we can choose whether or not to use the CAG Acronym filter when we post, just like we can turn off the parsing for bbcode and smilies?

To be completely honest, that didn't cross my mind. Never mind, then.

If they add that, "on" should definitely be the default. That way, we won't have to tell the stupid newbies to turn it on while we're flaming them. Saves us all time.

I don't undestand why Cheapy is including acro's like that as it will only lead to confusion and annoyances. The acrobot should be limited to acro's that are directly related to deals and/or business like TRU.

Cheapy should also try to get the acrobot to work when you preview a message.

Is this working properly on all browsers? It works fine for me, and I know them anyway, but the upcoming TRU BOGO sale has at least 3 different people asking what they mean. They refuse to read the thread since it's mentioned multiple times but maybe they can't see the underline and explanation. I'm hoping they're not that ignorant.
