Super Mario Kart (2/4/08) - The cheap AI in this game can eat my ass. Can't even count the amount of times I fell short in the Special Cup on 150cc difficulty. I haven't played anything in a long time that made me want to snap a controller in half, but SMK pushed me to that point more than a few times. I finally did finish it with golds on all cups and levels...for the time being, my SNES is spared.

Time Crisis 3 (2/13/08) - Finally beat this after repeated attempts with the girlfriend at the local Dave and Busters. In past times, we either ran out of credits or we're booted because they closed for the night. Arrived there with ample time and finished it up. Great game.

Time Crisis 4 (2/13/08) - After completing the third game, we walked over a few feet and beat this one as well. Probably the best light gun shooter I've ever played. It would have been a more enjoyable experience if my gun wasn't malfunctioning. Those arcade light guns must take an absolute pounding day in and day out.

Kirby Canvas Curse (3/2/08) - This is easily my favorite DS title. It has everything I want in a portable game.

• Excellent soundtrack - CHECK

• Lots of replay value with cool unlockables - CHECK
• Original game design that implements the stylus well - CHECK

I have beaten the main game and liked it enough to go through and complete damn near everything.

Secret of Mana (3/17/08) - SoM is a quality game that I had fun with, but it just isn't the life-changing experience some people make it out to be. That is all...

Metroid: Zero Mission (4/13/08) - Superb game. Zero Mission is one of my favorite portable titles ever, which says a lot considering that I don't think very highly of the game it is based upon (Metroid). I have yet to play Super Metroid, but finishing Zero Mission has me anxious to tackle it. I want to see how it compares with its 2D brethren.
