I went to buy it, and the Gamestop employee pretty much yanked it out of my hands, the game so bad he claimed lol, they had 10+ copies

Grabbed it for $6 after edge+coupon.

IGN's review is spot on. Run around, shoot aliens, get Resource Points (money) and new items. Level up, develop new weapons, repeat. Their main complaint seems to stem from the original $40 price.

If the idea of a top-down shooter-RPG appeals to you, grab it. There's nothing wrong with the gameplay mechanics.

I picked up the Wii version for $12 from the CC clearance. Worth the bargain price if you have friends to play with and enjoy dungeon crawlers.

I played it and reviewed the Wii version for a fansite. Despite having great pedigree (the devloper has such credits as X-Wing and Star Trek: Bridge Commander) this game came out pretty mediocre, with repetitive enemies, visuals, and music. It does have a ton of RPG elements, including stat-building and a vast array of weapons, so people who are into that stuff may like it. It retailed for $40-50, so you have to take reviews as reflecting that.

I picked up the Wii version for $11 plus change at CC. I'm still debating if I should return it, since the reviews pretty much say it's mediocre.

Got the Wii version of ebay new for the same. Its fun in multiplayer. Thus have ad-hoc? For that I might get it alone. Thx,

Thanks, I found a used copy at my local gamestop. I used the 25% off any used PSP game coupon. I also got an extra 10% off just for being honest and not stealing the game, lol. (The UMD was actually left in the PSP case instead of being put into their drawers, so the guy gave me 10% off just because I didn't steal the game). Total came to just over $6

I didn't even see a link to the 25% off coupon here on CAG unless I just overlooked it, but here it is anyways if anyone needs it: (Hosted on pspupdates.qj.net):
