Then thursday I asked the electronics guy why it is when i am looking for clearance items they are always gone. He said that if a store is ahead of its markdown schedual they just jump to the next and could be marking down a few days before. Then he proceeded to tell me that friday they would mark down electronics. Low and behold next day got to snag pgr4 and simpons for 14.98 and 12.98. Is simpsons any good.

After stopping at my two Targets again and finding PGR4 at both stores ringing up at $30 I have figured out that my Target stores never clearance price the games for the minimum that other people are finding them for. I have never seen these lowest prices that others have. Ninja Gaiden Sigma stayed in the case for months and never dropped below $40. I could never find Folklore for $15. They had tons of copies of Shadow of the Colossus for $15 last week but now they are gone. Jerico is STILL in the case for $25. I think my Target stores in my area will give these to the goodwill before they reach the minimum price that others are getting. It is really frustrating when I see these great deals posted but the are NEVER available at my stores.

Went to target today. The 9 copies of unreal on PS3 were gone...Must have dropped today, since they were there yesterday and scanned at 29.98.

I thought PS3 Unreal was a universal drop to $40?

In the past, one of my Targets would never sell a clearance game below 50% off. If there were any left after 50% off they would send the rest to Goodwill. Thankfully, they eventually started to allow the clearance games to go to 75% off before sending to Goodwill, and I've been able to have some pretty good pick-ups.

Just for those on the fence over the Simpsons game, I've played a few levels now and it's well worth the $12 if you're a fan of the show.

Way better than the demo would indicate, and it's truly funny, too.

PC -- nobody buys PC games in my area, so AAA titles usually go clearance fast and hard. But yeah, def PC version (i got a barrage (okay, 2) PMs asking me to pick it up if it was the ps3 version)

Picked up a DS Lite Headset for 3.74 yesterday, a Psyclone 360 VGA cable for $5, and a PSP hard case for $5.

For the PSP Phat, they had about 3 of the kits for $10 that include a USB data/charging cable, case, screen protectors, slide in charging station, grip with an extended life battery built in, among other things. Was marked down from $40.

for the people saying that their stores still have higher prices on the clearance games, are you making sure to either check dcpi's or having them scanned? if not u really should since a bunch of targets i go to r too lazy to sometimes even put a clearance sticker on games...

Clearance is done at the store level, so prices vary. I always scan pretty much anything that looks old (any x-box or GC game or old PS2 games). I scanned Oblivion PS3 yesterday and it is still 29.99 at my store.

i make a list of games i want. go to the upc database and print out the upc and then walk up to a scanner and see if the price has dropped.

Any good PC games on clearance?

I saw a post saying ET: Quake Wars was $5...I'd really like to get that! Any deals on Unreal Tournament III for PC? I saw a post saying it was $13.

Also, any deals on Gears of War PC?

I recently upgraded my PC, so some new games would be nice.

Oblivion scanned as $30 at my Target. I really would've liked to get it for $10.
