Tom Crusie, you should have used Dick Trickle for the NASCAR preview

SOB WTF OMFG, I was going to upload the pics I took with Hour of Victory and my stupid friend formated my Memory Stick because he said it was corrupted. I had so many pictures on there. SOB, I had some good beach pics. I also had some pics of the game and the pond where some frat kids took a Koi fish from and ate it in MTV's Frat Life reality show and then got. Here's a link for those that don't know the story behind it. http://www.ksbw.com/news/3013973/detail.html
The only pic I have left is one I took with my vision camera that looks like shit and is of the game in my dirty dorm room. I'll upload it when the new thread is up.

Edit: I like how Mrs. Ship always struggles to say my user name and then Ship comes to the rescue. Sip you said you had a bunch of games to trade in, why don't you trade on CAG anymore? Is it more convenient for you to trade in?

Great show, and it's awesome to have mrs. ship back!

I laughed when you guys talked about the Viva Pinata cartoon. It always seems that when I'm at the gym on the weekends, that show is on one of the TV's. I actually enjoy making up dialog for the characters in my head, definitely makes the workouts go quicker. I don't think I've ever heard what they're actually saying in that show, though..

Oh, and for whatever it's worth, Arc System Works has been attached to the Guilty Gear games, and a decent amount of...well, crap (see: Family Ping Pong for the Wii).

ship, did you ever end up trying Frogger 2? It is as disastrous as I'd expect it would be?

mrs. ship, if you ever want someone to play the DS with, drop me a PM. I even have the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time game, but I haven't played it yet (I could be persuaded to give it a go...).

Looking forward to next week's show!

Yep, Guilty Gear was what I associated Arc System Works being good at in my head.

And Frogger 2 is pretty mediocre. It's set up a lot like the Frogger games that were on the original Playstation, which I actually kind of enjoyed in their day, but I don't think I can bother with this version now. The whole time I was playing it, I was thinking how much more fun I would be having if I was just playing the original Frogger.

You were wrong with your assumptions last week that Novastrike was a dual-stick shooter, which it uses the R2 and L2 buttons for shooting and is more of a shmup than anything.

Good show despite Ship's unfamiliarity with a few subjects (PS3 SKUs, NASCAR, etc.). Loved the MGS3 song as the ending theme.

You're probably thinking about Gamepedia, which is a program I have for the Mac.

I enjoyed the show as usual. One suggestion - you guys were like, "There were some great answers for the contest . . . but I can't remember what they were." Maybe copy a couple of the better answers into the show notes, even if the people aren't winners. I'm not trying to pile more work on you, but I think sharing the best might be fun - I rarely revisit the thread after I post my entry. Anyway, there's my two cents. Keep up the good work!

Shipwreck, you seem to be a huge fan of most of the Atlus games, but what is your take on the 360 exclusive game Operation Darkness that is set to release June 24th? It is getting horrible reviews so far EGM (52/100), OXM (2/10) and The demo was pretty lackluster as well. (plus a crazy plot... Nazi Zombies, Vampires and Werewolves! WTF) Is this a game that you will pick up at lauch, pick up at a lower price or just avoid alltogether?

edit: "What's Opera Doc" was the opera episode, with Kill the Wabbit as part of the lyrics. "The rabbit of sevilee" is the one where Fudd chases bugs into the theatre and he puts him in the barber chair.

Furthermore, "Kill the Wabbit" is actually "Ride of the Valkyries" by Richard Wagner. Now, if this is still unfamiliar, and you are looking for another pop-culture reference, this piece was used in Apocalypse Now.
