$10 HD-DVDs at Hastings

I was at the Spokane Valley Hastings a few days ago, and I noticed that all of their rental HD-DVDs were on sale for $10 apiece. If you happened to buy an HD-DVD drive (or you're thinking of picking one up on the cheep) this isn't such a bad deal. About half of them were also the combo HD-DVD/DVD discs.

Titles I remember seeing:

The Good Shepard
Children of Men
Blades of Glory

I think mine dumped all of these a month ago or so.

I'll check it out just for Children of Men.

The one on the South Hill has a few as well. I would say about 20 different titles all together. It is a mix between brand new discs and previously viewed discs. Trouble is I either have or don't want the titles available.

The rental HD-DVD's have been $9.99 for a few months. I picked up the Bourne trilogy.

Nice! I picked up Zodiac myself. I love the artwork. The only thing I hate about Hastings, and I don't know if yours does it, but they put a sticky circular ring around the center of the discs of all their rental copies.

I had ZERO of those stickers. 3 of these movies were former rentals but looked like they had never been used. Zodiac was still sealed and rang up $17.99. Told the guy I got it on the $9.99 rack he just said ok and adjusted the price.

Just thought I'd bump this thread as a reminder.

I picked up Planet Earth and Mission Impossible Trilogy for $10 a piece a few days ago, so it may be worth a look still.

My local Hastings has marked all of their HD-DVDs down to $3.99. Possibly YMMV?
