Whew, that was a lot of typing. My GS doesn't accept things below $2, but I'm cool with the manager so he let some things slide. I had 5 other PS2 games that he just couldn't let in. Those were:

DBZ Budokai 2
Max Payne
Socom 2
007 Nightfire

Those were all under $1. My only warning is to watch out with any old games you trade in, especially last-gen consoles and the PSP. They love to throw out refurb fees like crazy for them (I would've gotten at least $10 more without the fees).

I know this doesn't belong here but I picked up Shenmue 2 used for $4.99 at FYE. I saw Xenosaga 2 for $7.99 but didn't have the cash. Check out your local FYE to see if you can score anything.

Would you mind reading the original post? It answers your questions. I didn't mind your first question as much because everyone seems to do that once and it shows up once on every single page, but this one is answered in Gamestop's own description of the offer.

Hmm..Assassins' Creed is 9 bucks?! And I just saw the entire .hack first set at Hastings..on cheap clearance....omg..... What to do...ARGH. Damn good offer! Thanks! If I ever find my receipt, I got TIVs for Disgaea 2, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, PS3 Rock Band and Oblivion. All I know is those 4 games + the 10 dollar bonus for two PS3 games gave me 51 bucks credit XD (W/o Edge card)

You asked if you would get more by trading in more than one group of 5. The answer is NO. Why? Because the terms specifically state that you get the same amount for any amount OVER 5. ANY amount over 5. 5, 50, 500, 5000. How about 453 or 12? It doesn't matter. Same percentage boost.

You trade in 5 games, you get 30%
You trade in 50 games, you get 30%.

I don't deserve the thanks. The first one to start gathering it was io and CAGs have been contributing to this for a couple months through other trade deals GameStop has had. Just updating the information people post.

TIVs today (both for GameCube) before bonuses:

Mario Golf Toadstool Tour: 4.75
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy 6.75

So both of those aren't good flips, with Mario Golf being a particularly bad one. LSW ends up being about 9.50, so it's a slight loss at best.
